You will gather many items throughout your journey in Code Vein 2, including weapons, orb types, upgrade materials, Jails, and more. One of the more unclear items you might find are Uncanny Stones.

The game doesn’t provide much explanation about what these strange rocks are for, except that Jadwiga may be interested in them for some reason. She is willing to reward players handsomely for collecting them.

What Are Uncanny Stones Used For?

Uncanny Stones serve as a keepsake of the past for Jadwiga. She shares their history and her own story as you bring her each stone. However, collecting these stones is part of a larger quest where she asks you to gather more and more. You’ll be tasked with collecting Uncanny Stones four times in total, with the amount increasing each time.

  • Request 2: 4 stones
  • Request 3: 8 stones
  • Request 4: 12 stones
  • Request 5: 27 stones

Completing each request upgrades your VIP Pass to her shop. The initial pass is the Iron Pass, given when you start her quest. Each subsequent upgrade is Bronze, Silver, Gold, and finally, Platinum. These upgrades unlock new items, unique weapons with special effects, and more, making the effort worthwhile.

Where To Find Every Uncanny Stone

There are many Uncanny Stones spread across the game, and it’s unlikely you’ll find all of them. Still, you only need a total of 66 to complete Jadwiga’s requests, and this guide highlights 76 locations, more than enough to meet the requirements.

Here are the regions and their stones:

Magmell Island

There are three stones to find:

  • On the eastern beach near a strong enemy.
  • In the Water Treatment Plant, at the end of a long hallway.
  • Between two bookshelves south of the Cliff Underground Ruins.

Sunken City

Nine stones are hidden here:

  • In the cliffside ruins.
  • Inside a ruined building by the Plateau Overlooking City mistle.
  • At the Seized Substation’s Turbine Control Zone mistle.
  • Under the train tracks west of Josée’s Outpost.
  • In a building southwest of Josée’s Outpost.
  • Near a portable toilet southeast of Adelheid Regional Pathos.
  • In a building directly south of Josée’s Outpost.
  • On the upper walkway of Zenon’s hidden lab.

  • Next to the Solitary Refinement Cell mistle.

Sealing Grounds

The last 16 stones are in the Sealing Spire after finishing the first ending:

  • Walking on a flat walkway on the lower floors.
  • On a small ledge before a drop on the middle floor.
  • Near the top floor on an outside balcony.
  • On a balcony near the top, across from a metal gate.
  • Near the top balcony, on the opposite side of a gate.
  • On an outside ledge on the upper floors.
  • In a pipe walkway of the same room.
  • On a balcony near the top floor.
  • On a narrow ledge before a drop.
  • Near the top balcony on the upper floors.
  • In the large room filled with ranged enemies and scaffolding.
  • On a platform across from the previous location.
  • In the same room, on an outside pipe.
  • On a small balcony near the upper floors.
  • On a ledge before a middle-floor drop.
  • Close to the top balcony, standing on a ledge.

There are likely many more Uncanny Stones scattered across the game, though these are the ones known and documented. They serve no purpose other than being collectible items.
