With Code Vein 2 moving to an open-world format, it’s important to have engaging things in the game world to keep your interest. While there are many small dungeons to explore, Regional Pathos offer something more meaningful.

These are hidden across the map and are unique to each region they appear in. Instead of being tough challenges, you can think of Regional Pathos as rewards for exploration. Here’s where you can find all of them.

What Are Regional Pathos?

Regional Pathos are, in a way, a form of artificial difficulty management. They are large floating altars that represent notable figures from history. When you pray at a Pathos, it grants a bonus specific to that region.

There’s no limit on how many you can activate. Once turned on, a Patho remains active until you deactivate it. You can have all the Pathos in a region active simultaneously or choose any combination you prefer. These bonuses persist across all game periods, so activating them early is beneficial.

To deactivate or reactivate a Pathos later, simply click on it on the map instead of physically traveling to it again.

The perks provided by Pathos are highly varied, and different effects usually don’t overlap. Feel free to mix and match to create your preferred gameplay style.

Where To Find Every Regional Pathos in MagMell Island

There are only two Pathos on MagMell Island—one above ground and one below.

Ingrid – The Savant

Located on the eastern coast of MagMell Island overlooking the ocean, Ingrid increases your maximum Life Points (LP) and Ichor Boosts while you’re in this region.

Gyoten – The Explorer

Found in the Cliff Underground Ruins, north of the MagMell Academy and down some stairs, Gyoten boosts your resistance to status effects and grants an extra use of Regeneration.

Where To Find Every Regional Pathos in Sunken City

A total of six Pathos are spread throughout the Sunken City area.

Carmen – The Star

Located south of Josée’s Outpost, on the east side of the large chasm. It sits on the water’s edge outside a destroyed building, providing a max stamina increase and enhanced Mind.

Milo – The Engineer

Found in the depths of the Sunken Pylon, west of the region. Offers an increase to max Ichor and boosts Dexterity.

Armand – The Warhorse

Located at the end of the Arcade Ruins, northeast of Josée’s Outpost. Grants increased attack power and a Strength boost.

Adelheid – The Holy Maiden

Positioned east of the Plateau Overlooking City Mistel, atop a large cathedral reachable by a side ladder. It provides increased Vitality and an extra Regeneration use.

Egbert – The Ruler

In the Mountain Underground Facility, accessible from a side room to the east. It increases max HP and Willpower.

Claire – Right Hand of Idris

Found northwest of the Western Gatehouse Ruins, on a cliff above. It restores extra health with each Regeneration and is active in all regions.

Where To Find Every Regional Pathos in Undead Forest

Six Pathos are scattered across the expansive Undead Forest.

Lucia – Mother Of The Wasteland

Located in the western part of the region in the Mountain Hamlet, it increases your maximum stamina and allows more food buffs stack at once.

Ned – The Maligned

Behind some containers in the Warehouse Ruins, after navigating the warehouses. It enhances attack power and speeds up how quickly you build status ailments.

Konrad – The Father of the Cult

In the Gorge Cave to the south of the Sanatorium, encountered during the story with Holly. Grants an increase to max Ichor and boosts Willpower.

The Nomeless Heroes

Situated at the Riverside Church Ruins, at the water’s edge in the northeast corner. It applies fire effects to your weapons when possible and grants an additional Regeneration use.

Cyrus – The Musician

Found atop a hill on the west side of the Village Beneath the Dam, it increases your maximum LP and improves elemental defenses.

Alessandro Gobbo

Located in the center of the Bureau’s Castle, appearing only after altering both Josée and Lyle’s histories. It increases enemy drop rates and is active in all regions.

Where To Find Every Regional Pathos in Corroded Scar

Six Pathos are spread throughout this layered area.

Theodore – Mutinous Knight

Within the Northern Watch Fort, offering increased max Ichor and reducing stamina required for guarding.

Gordon – The Master Craftsman

Located in the northern section of the Limestone Cave, offering increased max HP and reducing enemy health recovery from partner attacks.

Karl – The Votary

Behind the Tower of Regeneration in the northwest, accessible via a passage from the Riverport Watch Fort, extending Forma durations and providing an extra Regeneration.
