Hollow Knight: Silksong offers a range of side quests, known as Tasks or Wishes depending on their goals. Many of these quests come from the various NPCs you meet, and completing as many Wishes as possible is worthwhile since they often reward you well.
One of the initial Wishes you can complete early on is called The Berry Picking. An engaging NPC will ask you to collect a few fruits, and in return, she will give you a useful trinket that will aid you on your journey. Here’s how to find all the Mossberries in Mosslands during Hollow Knight: Silksong.
### How To Start The Berry Picking Wish
You can start The Berry Picking Wish as soon as you meet the Moss Druid. She is located on the northeast side of Mosshome, in the same large room where you first get the Silk Skill called Silkspear.
In this area, move to the right until you reach the end. There, you’ll find a small passage leading to the Moss Druid. Talk to her, and she will ask you to bring her three Mossberries. While there are more than three available in the game, we’ll focus on the first four that are accessible early on without special abilities.
> Note: You can find the Mossberries in any order. Having a map of the area will make locating them much easier.
### Mossberry #1 Location
Most likely, you’ve already spotted this Mossberry without even meeting the Druid. In the starting area, Moss Grotto, head left, climb some platforms, then go right. Before heading into the next room, climb the platforms above and clear out the tiny flying bugs. The Mossberry will be on a branch just above.
### Mossberry #2 Location
This one can be a bit tricky if you’re not comfortable with Hornet’s jumping attack. It’s easier once you have the dash ability, so you might want to leave it for later. To find it from the start, go on the northeast side of Moss Grotto — it’s on the main path heading towards the next area. The Mossberry sits on an elevated platform, and you’ll see a flying bug nearby.
Jump to the left platform, wait for the bug to come close, then perform a jump-down attack to hit it and get the Mossberry.
### Mossberry #3 Location
This is the closest Mossberry to the Moss Druid. After leaving her chamber, head left on a downward path. Fall there, then move right into a dark room filled with bells. A flying bug holding the Mossberry will be inside — defeat it to claim the fruit.
### Mossberry #4 Location
When you reach The Marrow, you’ll find a passage leading back to Mosshome, below the chambers with the Silkspear. Move all the way to the left, then up to the northeast of Bone Bottom, where there’s an area with a lift connecting to the middle of Bone Bottom.
Instead of using the lift, go right, jump across platforms, and deal with flying bugs. When you reach the third platform, wait for a bug flying just below. It will carry a Mossberry. You need to time your jump and attack correctly to defeat it. Once defeated, both you and the Mossberry will fall near the Bone Bottom village.
> Tip: Use your Silkspear skill to take out bugs with a single attack.
### Rewards for Completing The Berry Picking Wish
After collecting the three Mossberries and returning to the Moss Druid, she will reward you with the Druid’s Eye. This item slowly charges your Silk bar each time you get hit.
### Additional Mossberry Locations and Rewards
There are more Mossberries scattered throughout other areas, like Bonegrave (located on the west side of Bone Bottom, accessible later in your adventure) and Weavenest Atla, a region below Moss Grotto. If you find extra Mossberries, you can return them to the Druid for additional rewards — approximately 50 Rosaries for each one.
