Capcom has released another sizable package for Mega Man fans: the Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection. This collection features seven games, which are basically three main titles with different versions.
So, what exactly does each version offer? If you only play one, will you miss out on something important? Are there unique bosses, cards, or gameplay features? Let’s break down the Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection and see what you can find in each game included.
Every Game in the Collection
The collection includes these seven titles:
- Star Force: Leo
- Star Force: Pegasus
- Star Force: Dragon
- Star Force 2: Zerker x Ninja
- Star Force 2: Zerker x Saurian
- Star Force 3: Black Ace
- Star Force 3: Red Joker
Some may count them as eight if you consider Zerker as its own version, since it was bundled with the other two to avoid having three separate releases, which allegedly faced criticism for splitting the original Star Force into multiple versions.
While each main game is quite similar, you’ll notice differences in transformations, cards, and other game details depending on which version you pick. For example, Star Force: Leo features the Fire Leo transformation.
Below, we’ll explore how each version differs.
