Terminull Brigade is a fast-paced cooperative hero shooter where teams of three players battle through multiple rooms filled with enemies in order to reach and defeat a boss. To succeed, it’s important to have a well-balanced team with a variety of heroes and abilities at your disposal.
How does multiplayer work in Terminull Brigade? Playing with friends and finding teammates is straightforward thanks to the game’s Recruitment Lobby system. Here’s a quick overview:
Terminull Brigade is a three-player co-op game, meaning you can team up with up to two friends. During the tutorial mission, you’ll likely play solo, but you have the option to invite friends if you prefer. When matchmaking, you can click the ‘Match to Fill’ button above the Start button in the lobby to have the game automatically select teammates for you. If you are playing with strangers, it’s helpful to choose a diverse team of Rogueteers to cover a wide range of abilities.
You can also invite friends by clicking the ‘Friends’ Icon in the upper right corner, which allows you to invite players from Steam or Epic. To activate the Recruitment Lobby or invite players, simply press the ‘+’ icon next to your Rogueteer. The Recruitment Lobby is a dedicated multiplayer menu where you can look for players interested in specific missions and difficulties. It’s also a place to find others who are recruiting for their own missions.
To use the Recruitment Lobby effectively, understand these basic filters:
- Mode: You can switch between all available game modes, starting with only Standard mode until more are unlocked through gameplay.
- World: There are two initial worlds, Ringed City and Wasteland. Completing quests in both unlocks more content, including new modes and Platinum Coins.
- Difficulty: There are three main difficulty levels. To raise the difficulty, players must first beat the map on a lower difficulty.
- Approval: Turning approval on or off lets you accept or deny teammate requests when recruiting.
To find a team, toggle the first three options to your preferred mission type and search. To recruit a team, toggle all four options and then click ‘Recruit’.
If no teams are available for recruitment, it might mean your level is too low. The Recruitment Lobby is especially useful once you start taking on higher difficulty challenges.
