Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy allows players to take on the roles of their favorite Final Fantasy characters from across the series. The game is set in modern-day Tokyo, where you’ll encounter monsters roaming the streets and compete against other players in 3v3 battles.
While playing, you can choose to buy the Season Pass if you want. But what do you actually get from it, and is it worth the cost? Here’s a clear breakdown.
What Are Seasons?
Seasons are limited-time events that drive the story of Dissidia Duellum. During each season, you earn season points by participating in battles. The more points you accumulate, the more rewards you’ll unlock. The initial season is called A New World Tutorial Season, which begins when you make your account and ends once all rewards are collected. If you buy the Season Pass, you get extra rewards for each season.
The next season is titled The Fight Rages On, the prologue, running until April 28, 2026, at 03:59 UTC.
What Do Season Passes Unlock?
The first Season Pass costs 90 MogPay Points. If you buy it, you will receive various benefits until the current season ends, including:
- Access to the Season Pass rewards lane
- Access to event rewards like Ability Draw Tickets, Growth Eggs, Character Tickets, and MogPay Points
- Bonus login rewards such as Ability Draw Tickets
- Twice as many Growth Eggs from ability draws
- More capacity for ability crystal slots (from three to six)
- Additional ability set slots (from one to three)
- The ability to skip the video ad for five free draws once every eight hours
You also have the option to buy a Boost Pass, which triples the season points you earn in battles. The first three-day Boost Pass is free, so be sure to use it if you can. Afterwards, the three-day Boost costs 480 MogPay Coins, and the 28-day version costs 1,980 MogPay Coins.
Are Season Passes Worth It?
If you’re a frequent player of Dissidia Duellum, the Season Pass is probably a good investment. It offers extra rewards, faster character improvements thanks to doubled Growth Eggs, and more inventory slots for your abilities.
However, casual players who don’t play as often might find it unnecessary, as you can still earn plenty of rewards without spending real money.
A New World Tutorial Season Rewards
During the initial tutorial season, participating in battles grants you rewards that include Growth Eggs, MogPay Points, and character icons or story unlocks.
