Like many multiplayer games these days, Rematch features a battle pass. Instead of offering weapons or combat gear, this pass provides a variety of cosmetic items for your character. You can earn many rewards for free, but if you’re looking to unlock everything, you’ll need to buy an Upgrade Ticket.
At first glance, the battle pass aligns with what you’d expect in the gaming industry, but Sloclap has added its own flair to the design. Here’s what you need to know about progressing through the seasons in Rematch.
Understanding Pass Chapters
When you enter the Season menu, you’ll see it is divided into three sections. A season typically lasts around 90 days, but Sloclap doesn’t allow access to all rewards immediately. Instead, the first chapter is available right away, while the remaining two will become accessible as the weeks progress.
This setup keeps the experience engaging throughout the season and prevents players from unlocking everything too quickly.
Once you open any section of the pass, you’ll find that rewards are arranged within nodes, giving you multiple paths to choose from. This allows you to focus on the items you want first. You’re not locked out of any options, so you can backtrack whenever you wish.
Understanding Tier Tokens
To claim rewards from the pass, you need to use Tier Tokens, which you earn by gaining 1,750 XP. With enough tokens, you can unlock a tier on one of the nodes, or you can save them up to unlock an entire node at once.
You can keep accumulating Tier Tokens even after you’ve claimed all rewards in a chapter, allowing you to gear up for the next one.
Access to the free rewards is exclusive unless you purchase a Captain Pass. This pass enables you to collect items marked with a yellow lock, and any items you’ve previously bought will be added retroactively to your customization options.
