Terminull Brigade offers a selection of diverse Rogueteers, each with their own unique skills. Players can build their teams with each run by mixing randomized Arbiters, relics, perks, and modular upgrades. This creates a gameplay experience where every combination feels fresh and different from previous attempts.
In addition to gear loadouts, the game has a detailed progression system. As you complete missions, you earn points to unlock a talent tree that evolves over time. Filling out this tree enhances various aspects such as weapon strength, shop efficiency, and overall performance. Each new session feels more rewarding as you make steady progress towards powerful builds.
### What Are Ability Modules?
Ability Modules are part of a branching talent system broken into three main sections: a red combat-focused tree in the center, a cyan support tree on the left, and a blue economy-based tree on the right. You earn Codes—points used to unlock these modules—by playing missions, achieving milestones, progressing through the Overload Pass, or taking part in events.
Each tree has smaller, general nodes as well as larger primary nodes, which grant stronger bonuses. Unlocking the primary nodes generally requires investing points in earlier modules first.
#### Support Tree
The cyan support tree is ideal for players looking for consistent sustainability during their runs. Many nodes boost defense, such as increased maximum health, damage resistance, or shield healing. Some modules increase the chance of enemies dropping healing items or give secondary effects like nullifying fatal damage or providing a speed burst once your shields are broken.
The support tree also benefits from passive nodes you activate by spending Codes—up to five passive nodes can be unlocked, offering bonuses like increased primary skill caps and higher chances of finding better perks.
This tree excels during longer missions where durability matters. Primary nodes like Holographic Shield or Fight On add significant defensive power, while passive benefits from Duel Feedback and Life Extraction help you stay alive by clearing enemies more efficiently.
If you want a reliable safety net or are not confident in dodging every attack, the support tree provides dependable bonuses.
#### Combat Tree
The red combat tree focuses on raw damage output and offensive power. It includes nodes that increase critical hit chance, fire rate, and damage — such as Crit Boost, Rate of Fire, and Burst Fire. These improve your base weapon and skill damage, making this tree vital for scaling your offensive capabilities.
Primary nodes like Arbiter Ruler, Excellence, and Crit Boost offer escalating bonuses when you invest in multiple perks or talents. For players aiming to maximize burst damage, especially in solo or endgame scenarios, the combat tree is essential.
#### Income Tree
The blue economic tree enhances coin generation during runs and boosts shop value. Nodes like Way to Wealth, Bounty Hunter, and Double Surprise stack to give you more coins at the start of each run, after kills, or through surprise bonuses. This helps you buy upgrades faster and reach milestones sooner.
Shop-related upgrades like Arbiter Descent, Perk Supplement, and Shopping Spree improve your chances of finding high-quality perks and make rerolling perks cheaper. This path suits players seeking rapid scaling, efficient resource spending, and more control over perk selection.
