Attack on Titan Revolution is a Roblox game based on the popular anime and manga series, Attack on Titan. In this game, players aim to defeat titans using ODM gear, but you’re not provided with directions on what ODM gear is or how to use it effectively.
Many players may feel stuck because the game doesn’t explain that various components of ODM gear can be upgraded. This often leads to frustration when dealing with the limitations of the basic gear. There are eight different aspects of your ODM gear that can be improved, and each can be leveled up to 15 times.
What Is ODM Gear?
ODM gear consists of gas tanks and swords that allow players to maneuver around the game world swiftly and take down titans. This gear serves both travel and combat purposes.
When aiming, your character’s white reticle indicates where you will shoot your ODM gear. To target a location on PC, use the Q or E keys. On Xbox or PlayStation, the corresponding buttons are LT or L2.
To navigate with ease, use the shift-lock feature on PC. Pressing shift enables sprinting, while holding down the CTRL key activates the shift-lock, allowing your ODM gear to shoot in the direction you’re facing. Press CTRL again to disable it.
Keep in mind that ODM gear has a limited number of uses. Players will need to refill their gas and blades at designated refill stations during missions. The blue bar at the bottom left of your screen shows your gas level, while the red bar on the bottom right shows how many sword slashes you have left.
To restore your gas and reload your blades, look for refill stations marked by a black and gold emblem as you explore the map.
If you can’t spot a refill station, keep moving around the area; they may only appear once you’re close enough.
What Can Be Upgraded in ODM Gear
Your ODM gear has eight components that can be upgraded, each with varying costs ranging from 500 gold to nearly 170,000 gold for the final upgrade. Each component can be upgraded up to 15 times.
The components you can upgrade include:
- Damage: Increases the overall damage dealt to titans.
- Durability: Reduces blade damage, resulting in fewer reloads.
- Range: Enhances the distance from which you can shoot.
- Gas: Extends the time between refills.
- Speed: Increases your character’s speed.
- Control: Improves the smoothness and maneuverability of your ODM gear.
- Crit Chance: Boosts your chances of landing critical hits.
- Crit Damage: Amplifies damage on weak points like arms and legs.
Where to Upgrade Your ODM Gear
After launching the game, you’ll find various labeled areas around the central hub. Look for a large sign reading "Equipment" as you move around. This area features a glowing orange circle where upgrades occur.
Once inside this circle, you’ll see an NPC named EVO Yeager working at an anvil. Interact with EVO, then select the Upgrade option that appears on your screen.
In the bottom left corner, a list of all upgrades available will be displayed, while the top right corner shows your current gold, crystals, spins, and sometimes event tokens. Below this, you’ll find the upcoming upgrades, including their costs and benefits.
Before upgrading, try to complete as many missions as possible to gather enough gold. This ensures you can enhance your skills and gear effectively.
