Just like real life, it features specific dates and some unique in-game events, including the quarterly Bug-Off and Fishing Tourney. Throughout the year, you’ll want to keep track of these key moments to enjoy their full experience.
From Bunny Day to New Year’s Eve, a list of confirmed events is available below. Use this as your go-to schedule to stay updated on upcoming in-game festivities. In addition to the major events, check your mailbox regularly, as villagers often send letters with seasonal news, and Nook Shopping offers special items at discounts during certain times.
January Events:

- Bug-Off — Third Saturday in the Southern Hemisphere
February Events:
- Valentine’s Day — February 14
- Festivale — February 28 to March 3 (both hemispheres)
During Festivale, Pavé arrives dancing on your island, celebrating with colorful feathers. You’ll collect feathers of different colors by participating in activities, and trade three of the same color for a Festivale item. Rare rainbow feathers can be exchanged for the Festivale Float or used in DIY recipes.

- Bunny Day — April 4 (Eggs begin arriving April 1)
During Bunny Day, Zipper T. Bunny visits your island, hiding eggs of six types: Sky, Water, Leaf, Stone, Earth, and Wood Eggs, found through balloons, fishing, shaking trees, rocks, or chopping wood. Use these to craft themed furniture and recipes, especially on Easter Sunday.
Nature Day:
- April 23 to May 4, celebrating Earth Day with tasks like planting trees and watering flowers to earn special Nook Miles.
May Events:
- Mushroom Season — May 1 to 31 (Southern Hemisphere)
- May Day Tour — May 1-7, featuring a maze and special visitor with a ticket you can use at the airport.
- International Museum Day — May 18-31, complete a Stamp Card by viewing exhibits to earn rewards.
June Events:
- Bug-Off — Fourth Saturday (Northern Hemisphere)
- Wedding Season — Entire month, celebrating with Reese and Cyrus on Harvey’s Island, taking photos, and earning wedding items.

- Fireworks — Every Sunday in August, where you can enjoy a neighborhood-wide display, personalize shows with Isabelle, and visit Redd’s stall for fireworks-related items.
