Introducing the Two-Handed Sword Talisman, featuring a horned warrior design, this new addition to Elden Ring through the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC is a must-have. Inspired by legendary horned warriors known for wielding swords with both hands, this talisman significantly boosts your attack power when using two-handed weapons.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to find the Two-Handed Sword Talisman in Elden Ring, as well as how to incorporate it to amplify your already formidable strength builds.
Where to Find the Two-Handed Sword Talisman

You can locate the Two-Handed Sword Talisman inside a treasure chest at the Temple Town Ruins. This area lies northwest of Castle Ensis and Ellac Greatbridge.

Once you arrive at the Temple Town Ruins, use your torrent to scale the buildings until you reach the highest point. Expect to encounter several Horned Warriors, which can be quite challenging to defeat.

Defeat the Horned Warrior located at the top of the tallest building. Afterward, ascend the stairs to discover a small room. Inside, you’ll find a treasure chest containing the Two-Handed Sword Talisman.
Stats and Uses of the Two-Handed Sword Talisman
The Two-Handed Sword Talisman has a weight of 1.2 and boosts the attack power of two-handed sword wielders by 15%. It’s important to note that this talisman does not affect Bows, Great Bows, Light Bows, Crossbows, or Ballistae.

This talisman is particularly beneficial for Greatsword builds, such as those utilizing Malekith’s Black Blade or the Blasphemous Blade. If you’re focusing on a build that emphasizes Strength and primarily uses two-handed weapons, this should definitely be on your radar.
Some weapons cannot be two-handed and are instead classified as paired weapons, like the Backhand Blade. This talisman doesn’t apply to those.
Keep in mind that you cannot stack the Two-Handed Sword Talisman with the Claw Talisman or the Axe Talisman, meaning you won’t gain additional damage from jump or charged attacks.
This talisman doesn’t enhance spells or skills either. Similarly, it doesn’t apply to backstabs, ripostes, mounted damage, or charged attacks when using the Regal Roar skill.
While you can sell the talisman for 200 runes to any in-game merchant, it’s advisable to hold onto it since it’s one of the most valuable talismans for Strength builds and can only be acquired once per playthrough.
