In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, many quests can be easily overlooked, especially if you’re unsure of what actions to take or if you choose a storyline that prevents you from accessing specific quests. The game allows you to forge your own path, which impacts how the events and character interactions unfold.
If you’re eager to explore all that this game has to offer, you’ll want to track down every possible quest and storyline. One such quest that could easily slip by during your initial playthrough is the task named “The Tragedy in Danemark.”
This quest is missable.
How to Begin the Tragedy in Danemark Quest
The Tragedy in Danemark is a side quest that can only be initiated within the Yackers ‘n’ Fash quest.
Once you advance further in the Yackers ‘n’ Fash quest and discover the body of Merchant Hensel, you can proceed to the village with the mill. This is where you can kick off the Tragedy in Danemark quest.
You must complete the Tragedy in Danemark before finishing the Yackers ‘n’ Fash quest; otherwise, it will become unavailable, and you will miss it.
How to Finish the Tragedy in Danemark Quest
In the small village located to the north, you’ll find a ladder leading up to the second floor of a hut, where you can spot three family members being held captive.
Be cautious, as numerous bandits are nearby; it’s best to approach stealthily.
Begin by sneaking up behind the man and freeing him, which will trigger the task. You’ll then need to choose whether the family should wait or run. Opt for the wait option, as bandits are still lurking around.
Next, your objective is to defeat all the bandits to ensure the village is safe and liberate the family. After dealing with the threats, return to speak with the miller and finish the quest.
