Unlocking the Suture Self Trophy in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

When you battle boss enemies or the samurai guarding the castles in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you might find yourself taking significant damage. Fortunately, you can heal by using Rations at the push of a button. However, as the game progresses, these Rations may not recover enough of your health.

How to Upgrade Rations

To keep up with tougher challenges, it’s essential to upgrade your Rations as soon as possible. There are a few methods to do this, and you’ll earn a trophy or achievement once you’ve fully upgraded your Rations. However, it requires more than just unlocking a couple of skills.

The first step to upgrade your Rations is to build two new structures in your Hideout. Start by constructing the Zashiki. To accomplish this, complete the Iron Hand Guild side quests given by Imai Sokun in Settsu. Next, advance through the People of Yamashiro quests to acquire the Tea Room from Sen no Rikyu. After that, you can build these additions in your Hideout.

Additionally, you’ll need to complete the Feast For Thought quest. You can start gathering items before the quest officially begins, but it will kick off when you interact with a Food Vendor located in the southeast area of Taksuki.

There are 16 Food Vendors located throughout the map. To maximize your Rations, you must speak to each vendor and collect a soup quest item from all of them. Once you’ve gathered all 16 items, you will reach the maximum limit for your Rations. All Food Vendors are marked on your map, so locating them shouldn’t be a hassle. Just refer to the map legend for guidance.

Suture Self Trophy/Achievement

You will earn the Suture Self trophy or achievement once you have fully upgraded your Rations. To achieve this, you need to gather quest items from all 16 Food Vendors and construct both the Zashiki and Tea Room in your Hideout.

The sequence in which you complete these tasks doesn’t matter; the trophy or achievement will unlock as soon as you fulfill all requirements. Upgrading your Rations will be incredibly beneficial in the more challenging segments of the game’s final stages.
