The Rotten Ring is a solid accessory for mid-game players, offering strong boosts to damage and technique. However, many players may find it difficult to reap the rewards from this ring since it’s classified as a Special Grade item with a notably low drop rate.

Like most Special Grade items in Jujutsu Infinite, there are two main methods to acquire the Rotten Ring, both requiring a grind in the Investigations mode. We’ll provide all the details you’ll need to secure the Rotten Ring, along with some helpful tips to speed up the process.

How to Get the Rotten Ring

The Rotten Ring, similar to most Special Grade items, can be obtained through active completion of Investigations. Specifically, it drops from the Yasohachi Bridge, which players can access starting at level 120.

Open Investigation Chests

The player character shows Investigations hub in the main lobby in Jujutsu Infinite.

By participating in the Yasohachi Bridge Investigation, you will complete various tasks that reward you with Investigation chests. For each task, you can earn about four chests, which is a good number. Opening these chests gives you a chance to receive the Rotten Ring.

The more you complete the Yasohachi Bridge Investigation, the more chests you can collect, which increases your odds of obtaining the Rotten Ring. However, be aware that the drop rate for this ring is only 3.5 percent, meaning it might take some time to find one.

To improve your odds, you can combine two main strategies:

Increase investigation difficulty: Opting for a difficulty level above regular (one star) can enhance your chances. For example, on Nightmare difficulty (four stars), your chances can rise to 4.44 percent.
Use luck-boosting consumables: You can also use specific items to enhance your luck and improve your chances of getting better drops from chests. Consider using items like White Lotus, Fortune Gourd, Beckoning Cat, Luck Vial, or other commonly obtained drops from missions.

If relying on chance doesn’t appeal to you and you’re after a more assured method, there’s another option.

How to Craft the Rotten Ring

The player character shows the Rotten Ring in a crafting station located in the main lobby in Jujutsu Infinite.

The second method to acquire the Rotten Ring guarantees your success but may require more time than the first approach. In this case, you can craft the Rotten Ring at the Crafting zone, which will cost you 200 Yasohachi Bridge Keys.

You can obtain these keys from chests you earn by completing tasks within the Yasohachi Bridge Investigation, although you’ll only receive a few each time.
