Unlocking the Reading Between the Lines Achievement in GW2

In the recent "Repentance" update for Janthir Wilds in Guild Wars 2, players will embark on a quest to discover Bava Nisos, the ancient city of the Mursaat. This journey aims to uncover the enigma surrounding the Titan’s return to Janthir.

As you reach the Mistburned Barrens, however, you’ll discover that the remnants of the White Mantle have already arrived. During your exploration, you might come across fragments of their journals that describe their expedition to find the lost city. Below, we’ve outlined how to locate all four journals belonging to the White Mantle for the "Reading Between the Lines" achievement.

Locating Every White Mantle Journal

Here’s a comprehensive guide to finding all four journals:

Hint	How to Find It	Map	Location
Near a fishing spot by Thunder Bay.	Go to the Striken Plains Waypoint in Janthir Syntri, then head north for a short distance to find the Tattered Journal.
On a table at the Alliance Staging Ground.	In Mistburned Barrens, travel directly south from the Alliance Staging Ground Waypoint. You’ll find the Tattered Journal on a small table.
Somewhere within the Nexus of Moonlight.	Head east from the Alliance Staging Ground Waypoint into the Nexus of Twilight, drop down to the ground floor, and move southeast a short distance—you’ll find the Tattered Journal just past an Updraft.
Near the sealed gate in the Grand Athenaeum.	In Mistburned Barrens, start at the Alliance Staging Ground Waypoint, go east through the Nexus of Twilight into the Grand Athenaeum, and continue east past The Gilded Approach Point of Interest. The Tattered Journal will be at the top of a flight of stairs.

Completing this achievement will grant you three Achievement Points and will contribute to your progress towards mastering the Mistburned Barrens area. Happy hunting!
