The incantation known as Howl of Shabriri, which is linked to the maddening Three Fingers, allows the caster to unleash a shriek of agony that drives nearby foes into madness while also affecting the caster. This state of madness amplifies the caster’s strength, but it also renders them more vulnerable to attacks.

Howl of Shabriri is considered one of the most powerful buffs available in Elden Ring. However, acquiring it can be quite a challenge due to its hidden location in a chaotic area. In this guide, we’ll help you track it down and optimize its usage for your advantage.

Where to Find Howl of Shabriri

You can acquire Howl of Shabriri from a treasure chest located on the second floor of the Frenzied Flame Tower, which is situated in the Frenzied Flame Village located in the northeastern section of Liurnia.

As you near the tower, you will be afflicted by Frenzy. The ground floor is crawling with Frenzy-inflicted rats. To prevent the spread of this madness, you must ascend to the top of the tower and eliminate the Frenzied foes residing there.

Once you reach the second floor, locate the treasure chest to obtain the Howl of Shabriri incantation in Elden Ring.

Howl of Shabriri: Stats and Application

To cast Howl of Shabriri, you’ll need 33 Faith along with a Sacred Seal. Each cast also consumes 21 FP and 38 Stamina, and requires a spell slot.

This spell is categorized under the Frenzied Flame Incantations and inflicts fire damage. Since it’s a body buff, it cannot be combined with other body buffs in the game.

When activated, Howl of Shabriri drives both nearby enemies and the caster into madness, increasing the caster’s damage output by 25% while reducing the physical damage guard of enemies by 30% for a duration of 40 seconds.

Bear in mind, though, that this spell also heightens the caster’s vulnerability to enemy attacks. Using the Old Lord’s Talisman can extend the duration of Howl of Shabriri to 52 seconds.

Howl of Shabriri works well in conjunction with the Golden Vow incantation but will not stack with Flame, Grant Me Strength. This incantation is essential for any character build in the game.
