The Heaven’s Rod stands out as one of the top fishing rods available in Fisch, greatly enhancing your chances of reeling in rare catches. However, it’s a high-level item that’s quite hard to acquire. If you’re determined to add it to your collection, you’ll need to prepare thoroughly and understand the steps to take.

To assist you with this challenging endeavor, here’s a detailed guide outlining the items you’ll need to gather and the various factors to keep in mind.

How To Obtain The Heaven’s Rod

The Heaven’s Rod is not only a rare late-game item but also a pricey fishing tool. Therefore, obtaining it will require some effort.

To make the rod available for purchase, you need to collect four Energy Crystals that are hidden throughout the new area, and complete a button puzzle that can be quite time-consuming.

Collect Energy Crystals

First, let’s focus on gathering the four Energy Crystals, as you need them to unlock the hidden cave where you can purchase the Heaven’s Rod. To find these crystals, you should invest in some additional tools to help you navigate the Northern Summit, a chilly and perilous region. Here’s a list of what you’ll need:

Keep in mind that you won’t be able to purchase all of these tools right away, as they’re located at different campsites along your journey. So, make sure to thoroughly check each campsite to avoid missing any essential items.

Now that you’ve gathered your supplies, let’s detail the location of each crystal and what you need to do to obtain them.

Blue Energy Crystal

To acquire the Blue Energy Crystal, you’ll find an NPC in a cave near the second campsite on your path. Inside, there will be an ice block encasing the crystal. Use your pickaxe to break the ice and claim your prize.

If you don’t have a pickaxe yet, head to the next campsite where you can purchase one. Then, return to the cave to collect your first crystal.

Green Energy Crystal

The Green Energy Crystal is relatively easy to obtain. Simply go to the specified coordinates and speak to the NPC lying in the cave. After some small talk, the NPC will happily give you your second crystal.

Yellow Energy Crystal

To acquire the Yellow Energy Crystal, you must trigger an avalanche in the Overgrowth Caves. You can do this by obtaining an Avalanche Totem or waiting for a natural event to occur. If you prefer not to wait, the Avalanche Totem can be found for 150,000 C$ at the edge of the cliff, located at 19711, 468, 6059.

Once the avalanche occurs, head over to the provided coordinates, and you’ll find the crystal on the cliff.

Red Energy Crystal

After collecting the first three crystals, it’s time to find the most challenging one: the Red Energy Crystal. To obtain it, you must buy it for 250,000C$ from Hiker #12, who is situated at the top of the mountain in Glacial Grotto. Before you can make this purchase, however, you’ll need to complete a button puzzle. You must locate and activate five different buttons scattered across various islands. To save you some time, here’s where to find them:

When you reach the respective coordinates, just look around. You should spot the buttons easily due to their larger size and bright red color.

Purchase Heaven’s Rod

After activating all the buttons, return to the NPC to buy the Red Energy Crystal.

The final step is to purchase the fishing rod itself. To find it, head to the large altar that has crystal holders, located at these coordinates: 19986, 906, 5453. Insert each of the crystals into the designated slots to activate the altar and uncover the entrance to the secret cave.

After this, glide down from the mountain to reach the Cryogenic Canal, which leads to the cave entrance. Once inside, look towards the south to spot the coveted Heaven’s Rod. Finally, interact with it to buy it for 1,750,000C$ and add it to your inventory.
