The Grafted Dragon is an extraordinary boss weapon found in Elden Ring, classified within the Fist weapons category. This unique weapon features a dragon head reminiscent of the one used by Godrick the Grafted and transforms into a dragon head that can unleash flames at will from the wielder’s arm.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to acquire the Grafted Dragon weapon, detailing its location and offering effective strategies to take down Godrick the Grafted.

Where to Find the Grafted Dragon

To obtain the Grafted Dragon, you must exchange the Remembrance of the Grafted with Enia at the Roundtable Hold.

You’ll receive the Remembrance of the Grafted after defeating the final boss of Stormveil Castle, Godrick the Grafted. This shard bearer can be found at the end of the castle and wields a massive halberd.

When you reduce Godrick’s health to half, he will graft a dragon head onto his arm, enabling him to attack you with fiery breath. Consider summoning Nepheli Loux to assist you during this battle, and maintain your distance. Be cautious of his roll and slam attacks, which can’t be blocked.

After defeating Godrick, you will receive his remembrance, which you can bring to the finger reader Enia at the Roundtable Hold. She will offer you a choice between two items: the Axe of Godrick or the Grafted Dragon.

Don’t panic; you can duplicate the remembrance to acquire both items.

Choose the Grafted Dragon, and you can claim it for 2,000 runes.

Grafted Dragon Stats and Requirements

The Grafted Dragon is designed for players who focus on Strength and Faith. To properly wield it, you’ll need 20 Strength, 16 Faith, and 14 Dexterity. It features D scaling with these attributes.

This weapon inflicts an additional 10% damage to Dragons and Wyverns, and 5% extra damage to Ancient Dragons.

The Grafted Dragon has a unique skill called Bear Witness, which consumes 20 FP. This skill animates the dragon head, allowing it to breathe fire around the player.

You can upgrade the Grafted Dragon to +10 using Somber Smithing Stones. At its maximum level, it delivers 218 Physical damage and 104 Fire damage to foes.

This fist weapon cannot be infused with any Ash of War or consumables.
