Where to Find the Golden Order Greatsword

You can acquire the Golden Order Greatsword by defeating the Misbegotten Crusader, an optional boss located at the end of the Cave of Forlon. This cave is situated in the Consecrated Snowfield.

The entrance to the Cave of Forlon can be found at the northeast end of a ravine, which lies between the northern and southern sections of the Consecrated Snowfield. Look for it southeast of the Minor Erdtree.

The easiest way to access the cave is from Albanuric Rise to the south.

Once inside the Cave of Forlon, navigate through until you reach the end, where you’ll encounter a yellow fog gate that leads to the Misbegotten Crusader. As the toughest Misbegotten foe in the game with a staggering 9,100 HP, this battle will test your skills.

The Misbegotten Crusader utilizes the same attack patterns as the Leonine Misbegotten and wields the Golden Order Greatsword himself. His weakness is fire, so consider using pyromancy spells like Giant Fireball or applying Fire Grease to your weapon.

Upon his defeat, the Misbegotten Crusader will drop the Golden Order Greatsword, which is among the 9 legendary armaments found in Elden Ring.

Stats and Requirements for the Golden Order Greatsword

The Golden Order Greatsword is a Holy weapon revered by the gods. To wield it, you will need 28 Faith, 21 Dexterity, and 16 Strength. Its scaling includes C with Faith, D with Dexterity, and E with Strength.

This weapon’s unique skill, Establish Order, produces a powerful explosion. As a special weapon, it cannot be infused with any Ashes of War or consumables like grease, nor can it be imbued with magic. You can upgrade the Golden Order Greatsword with Somber Smithing Stones up to a maximum level of +10.

At its peak, this weapon deals 210 Physical damage and 252 Holy damage, making it particularly effective against undead foes due to its holy properties.

This greatsword has a weight of 10 and can be sold for 500 Runes at any merchant throughout the game.
