As soon as you finish the rather tedious quest, The King’s Gambit, you will jump into another quest that might not hold your interest initially in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. While the quest features an exciting battle at the end, the beginning is quite slow and lacks excitement.

At the start, Godwin is drunk, which makes things even more chaotic. Your first task can feel like a chore. This guide will help you navigate through the quest efficiently.

Celebrating With The Guests

When the quest kicks off, Godwin will be intoxicated, and your main task will be to celebrate with the attendees. This part is optional, so you can easily skip it. If you’d like to participate, just chat with Brabant, Dry Devil, and Botschek.

Following that, have a conversation with Liechtenstein, and he will request that you bring him some wine. This can be a bit frustrating since the game doesn’t provide clear directions on where to find it.

How To Find The Jug Of Wine

Head down the stairs to the lower level, and you’ll see another set of stairs in front of you. Go down these steps, take a left, and you’ll find a wine cellar. Grab any wine bottle and head back up the stairs to trigger a cutscene.

Otto Von Bergow and his group will appear, leading to a fight.

After taking down some of the enemies, another cutscene will play, shifting the action to Henry.

Defeat Von Bergow’s Men

Gallop over to the fortress on your horse and rescue your allies from the ambush. Be sure to equip your armor and weapon before diving into battle. It’s crucial to prevent Godwin’s brother from dying if you want to earn that achievement.

After taking down the attackers, head upstairs and speak with Samuel. Once your conversation is over, chat with Liechtenstein, and he will reward you with 175 Groschen. Finally, you will encounter Kubyenka, and that will conclude the quest.
