How to Get the Song of the Deep

The only method to acquire the Song of the Deep is by visiting Captain Ahab. You can locate this character in Moosewood, near the dock, at the coordinates 362, 133, 194.

Captain Ahab is a bearded man wearing a blue suit and a gray shirt. Approach him, and he will ask you to bring him Moby, which is your ticket to getting the relic. So, to get the Song of the Deep, you will need to catch and deliver Moby to Captain Ahab.

However, catching Moby won’t be easy since it is a rare and elusive fish. The only way to find Moby is to catch it during the Whale Migration event. Keep in mind that there’s only a five percent chance of Moby appearing during this event.

To boost your chances of catching Moby, consider the following preferences:

Weather: Any
Time: Any
Season: Aurora Borealis
Bite: Squid

Prepare yourself to fish for Moby and wait for the Whale Migration event to trigger. This event can occur with a 20 percent chance during rainy conditions.

To help speed up the process, use the Tempest Totem to create rain.

Once the event begins, follow the path line that shows the direction of the whale group. When you encounter the group, check if Moby is present, as its appearance rate is quite low.

If you see a third fish along with two whales, that’s Moby, so you can start your fishing attempt.

Before you can catch Moby, all whales must be caught, and this can be done by anyone, not just you.

After successfully catching Moby, return to Captain Ahab and speak with him again. Hand over Moby to receive your reward.
