Unlocking the Dawnshore Storeroom in Avowed: A Guide

Once you move beyond the Northreach Fort area in Avowed, you’ll arrive at a vibrant location known as Dawnshore, featuring cities like Paradis and Claviger’s Landing. As you explore these areas, you’ll appreciate the incredible attention to detail from the developers, as hidden chests await you in the most unexpected places.

Many of these chests require navigating specific paths and performing parkour moves, while others are secured behind doors that need particular keys. A prime example of this is the Storeroom. Here’s how you can access it.

How to Obtain the Storeroom Key

Upon reaching Dawnshore, your first task is to tackle the Strangleroot issue on the western side, which will then grant you access to the eastern section. Head to the bottom of the map where you’ll find the Fellowship Harbor, home to the Storeroom. You’ll encounter a couple of officers discussing the missing key in this area as well.

To locate the key, stand in front of the door and then turn around and look up. You’ll spot an open window with a wooden platform just outside. Here’s how to reach it:

• Start by ascending the stairs to your left while facing the window, then continue up to the wooden platform and jump to the next one.
• Next, leap onto the stone gateway to your left and then onto the wooden structure in front of you.
• From here, you can jump across the wooden platforms, maneuvering around the building until you reach the window. Go inside, and you’ll find the storeroom key.

Once you have the key, you can unlock the Storeroom to discover a purple chest containing the following rewards: 11 Silver Fennings equal to 66 currency, one Binding Copper, one Iron Chunk, and two Pelts. After claiming your treasures, feel free to exit the Storeroom and continue your adventure.
