Where to Find Carian Phalanx
You can buy the Carian Phalanx sorcery from Seluvis at his rise for 6,000 runes after you deliver the Amber Starlight to him.
However, this task involves a complicated series of steps that need to be completed in the correct order.
- Defeat Rennala, the Queen of the Full Moon, located at the Academy of Raya Lucaria.
- Head to Caria Manor in the northwest corner of Liurnia.
- Conquer the Royal Knight Loretta at the end of Caria Manor to unlock the Three Sisters area.
- Meet Ranni at her rise and pledge your allegiance to her.
- Speak with three apparitions in Ranni’s Rise and then journey south to find Seluvis in his rise.
- Deliver Seluvis’s Potion to either Nepheli Loux, Sir Gideon Ofnir, or the Dung Eater.
- Return to Seluvis and report about the potion, then venture outside to discover the hidden entrance located northeast of Seluvis’s Rise.
- Speak with Seluvis and use Starlight Shards to purchase a puppet from him.
- Reload the area, exhaust all dialogue options with Seluvis, and compel him to sell you another puppet.
- Discuss Seluvis’s secret plan with him. Accept his proposal to retrieve the Amber Starlight.
- Travel to the Altus Plateau to obtain the Amber Starlight for Seluvis.
- Go back to Seluvis, and he will offer additional sorceries for sale, including Carian Phalanx from Elden Ring.
