These powerful archetypes symbolize your deeper connection with your friends and companions. Strengthening your relationships with your team allows you to summon these Royal figures in combat, making them resilient against a wide range of attacks.
Royal Embodiments represent enhanced versions of party members’ archetype classes in Metaphor: ReFantazio. Usually available in the later stages of the game, each ally must meet specific criteria to access their Royal form. Note that acquiring each Royal Embodiment costs MAG, so it’s wise to gather this resource as you play to facilitate everyone’s evolution.
How to Unlock All Royal Embodiments
Maximize Follower Bonds
To unlock every Royal Embodiment, the primary requirement is that you must have maxed out your bond with each character. Building these bonds in Metaphor: ReFantazio takes careful planning, as you’ll need to complete Favour side quests for different characters. As you progress through the game, you’ll encounter various missions that will help develop your relationships, but these require dedicating specific days to different party members.
Follower Bonds function like Social Links from the Persona series, with each character offering "Rank Up Events" that enhance your relationships and earn you MAG.
In total, there are seven Royal Embodiments for your primary party members. The total cost to acquire all Royal Archetypes comes to 30,000 MAG, making the process quite demanding and time-consuming. To make the most effective team combinations in Metaphor: ReFantazio, fulfill the following requirements for each character:

| Junah | Royal Masked Dancer | Get to Rank 20 with the Personal Master archetype from the Masked Dancer tree and Rank 20 in the Trickster archetype from the Faker tree. |

You cannot begin unlocking these Archetypes until after September 24th and the corresponding events of that date. Even if you have met the necessary criteria, you must speak with the NPC named More to access a Royal Archetype for a party member after that day. Once you have unlocked all Royal Embodiments in Metaphor: ReFantazio, you’ll have the most capable archetypes to tackle the game’s final challenges.
