How to Unlock Fast Travel
Fortunately, you won’t need to wander the beaches forever. Soon after encountering Hermes, you’ll be assisting him with his beloved seagulls and helping him retrieve lost keepsakes that jog his memory.
To unlock fast travel, you’ll need to achieve friendship level one with Hermes. Once you reach this level, you can trade ambrosia fruit with him to acquire the portal keys.
Where to Find Portal Keys
As soon as you can trade with Hermes, you can buy any available portal key as long as you have enough fruit. There are nine keys for you to collect, and each key corresponds to a specific doorway on the island.

The names of the keys provide clues about their locations, with the least expensive keys found in more accessible areas. It’s wise to grab those first!
How to Use the Island Portals
To make use of the portals, simply unlock the door. After using your key, step through the open portal, and you will be transported to the portal hub at the temple’s entrance.
From the hub, you can enter any other open portals, head to the lighthouse, or explore the southern beaches.
Each portal features a symbol below it in the hub to help you identify where it leads. If you accidentally choose the wrong portal, don’t worry! Just retrace your steps back through the portal to quickly return to the hub, and then select the correct one.
