How to Unlock Flynn Rider

To unlock Flynn Rider, you’ll have to finish a series of quests that will allow you to explore the vast world of the Storybook Vale.

You’ll need to complete two specific quests:

After finishing these quests, go to the western side of the Lorekeeper’s library and engage with the large ink wall. It will take 2,000 Story Magic to proceed, but this will bring you one step closer to unlocking the charming rogue from Tangled.

The Wolf of the Wilds Quest Walkthrough

Once you gain access to the Wild Woods west of the library, the quest kicks off. You’ll explore this new area with little guidance. Head to the southwest corner of the biome, clear out the inkies, and find the Fairy Tale Trial site.

Upon locating the Trial site, report back to the Lorekeeper. She will then send you to Merida for assistance, and the skilled archer will aid you in the Wild Woods.

When you arrive there, follow the wolf tracks that lead to the Trial site. A large wolf has taken the spinning wheel needed to open the portal, and you must find and replace it to enter the Fairy Tale Trial and face the Wolf of the Wilds.

Inside the trial, you’ll journey through a fragmented part of Maleficent’s castle, where you can speak to the wolf through a massive door. He claims to be a wolf, but you’ll need proof to help him regain his true identity.

Three puzzles based on the Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale will help you gather evidence, requiring items like wolfish slippers, musk, and howling, all essential to unveiling the truth about the Wolf of the Wilds.

Show these items to him to reveal his true nature, finish the trial, and build him a house in the village to officially welcome Flynn Rider.

How to Unlock More of Flynn Rider’s Friendship Quests

To unlock additional quests with Flynn, focus on spending quality time together and increasing his friendship level. You can do this by giving gifts, chatting daily, hanging out, and cooking meals at restaurants in the village.

Additionally, if you have the A Rift In Time Expansion Pass, you can gain extra friendship points through victories!

As your friendship level rises, new quests will be available approximately every other level, bringing fresh rewards and challenges. Upon reaching level ten, you’ll unlock Flynn’s best friend quest, completing his character arc.
