Unlocking Expeditions in Lego Horizon Adventures: A Guide

The core of Lego Horizon Adventures revolves around its main storyline. Once you’ve finished the primary narrative, there’s still plenty to discover. After defeating the Apex Predators in each area, you will open up the Expeditions feature.

Expeditions let you continue your journey in Lego Horizon Adventures after finishing everything else, whether solo for fun or with a friend to showcase the game’s features. The gameplay is easygoing and enjoyable, making co-op play even more fun.

How To Unlock Expeditions

You can unlock Expeditions after completing all the main missions and defeating the Apex Predator Hunts in a specific location. The Apex Predator Hunts are available once you’ve finished the story missions for that area, with additional hunts becoming available afterward.

There are four Expeditions available, which can be replayed unlimited times to earn XP and fulfill Community Job objectives:

• Sacred Lands
• Sunfall Desert
• Snowchant Mountains
• The Jewel Rainforest

Understanding Expeditions

Expeditions essentially allow you to revisit each area after concluding the main story, helping you find secrets you might have missed or earn extra XP.

These missions kick off just like any others, giving you the chance to choose a character, but the goals are straightforward: simply ‘explore X location’.

You navigate through various sections just as you did in the main story, facing enemies, collecting blocks, and searching for hidden treasure chests. At the end, you pick up a blue brick and return to the hub area. You can repeat Expeditions as often as you want, which lets you accumulate XP and work on completing Community Jobs.
