Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 has launched, bringing an exciting gold theme into the game. Along with these fresh visuals, many new updates have come into play, including perks and abilities designed to boost your gameplay and strategy.

One of the most notable new features is the Boon, which gives players unique advantages for the duration of their match. Wondering how to get a Boon and what benefits it offers? We’ve put together a complete guide to help you understand this new feature in Fortnite.

What Are Boons?

Boons are special rewards that you can get by buying them from Black Markets or finding them in Rare Chests. There are five different Boons available, each providing its unique benefits:

Boon	Perk
Gold Rush Boon	This Boon increases the amount of gold bars you can gather. You’ll receive extra gold bars when you break objects or open chests, along with improvements to movement speed, pickaxe swing speed, and building damage, making it easier to collect resources.
Greed Boon	When you activate it, this Boon gives you extra gold bars when you defeat an enemy or open chests.
Adrenaline Rush Boon	This Boon is ideal for nail-biting encounters, as it grants a Slap effect, providing unlimited Energy boosts similar to Slap Juice. This enhances your mobility and stamina during fights.
Vulture Boon	This Boon gives you a tactical advantage by revealing the locations of enemy eliminations on your map, but it’s only effective for a short time.
Gold Ammo Boon	This Boon ensures you have a steady supply of ammo by granting you additional bullets whenever you pick up Gold Bars. It’s a lifesaver, especially during intense battles where running out of ammo is a real risk.

Where To Find Black Markets?

Epic Games has added three different Black Markets, each in unique locations. One can be found just south of Magic Mosses. Look for the market logo on your map to find its exact spot.

The second Black Market is located just north of Crime City, on the eastern part of the map. During our playthrough, we discovered the Gold Rush Boon available there.

The last Black Market can be found between Seaport City and Masked Meadows. To find it, follow the violet icons on the map and look for the underground entrance.
