Palworld is a survival crafting game filled with various crafting materials and items. As you progress, your inventory can quickly fill up, making it necessary to create multiple storage chests around your base.
Finding specific items in these chests can be a hassle, and it’s easy to forget where things are stored. Fortunately, the recent Feybreak update introduced the Item Retrieval Machine, which lets you collect items from all chests in your base without digging through each one.
How to Obtain the Item Retrieval Machine
To unlock the Item Retrieval Machine, you’ll need to spend five Technology Points from the Technology menu at level 49. After unlocking it, gather the following materials to craft it:

Craft Pal Metal Ingots using an Electric Furnace or better, needing 4x Ore and 2x Paldium Fragments. Alternatively, establish an Ore Mining Site on your base and assign Pals with Mining skills to collect Ore automatically. |

Once you’ve collected the required materials, access the build menu and locate the Item Retrieval Machine under the Storage tab to construct it alongside your Pals.
How to Use the Item Retrieval Machine
The Item Retrieval Machine only works with chests inside your base. When activated, it will display all the items stored in your chests, allowing you to select and transfer any item to your inventory.
You cannot store new items using the Item Retrieval Machine, but if you have a specific item in your inventory that is already in one of the chests, you can add to it by moving that item into the machine.
Please note that the Item Retrieval Machine cannot access Guild Chests, Password-Protected Chests, or Locked Chests.
