While you can certainly play through Sniper Elite: Resistance by taking out Nazis without caution, the top-tier snipers know that stealth is the key. A sudden bullet or a swift knife strike can be just as vital to the mission as using a grenade.
To demonstrate your skills as a stealthy marksman, the game offers seven ribbon challenges. Completing these can range from straightforward tasks to those that require considerable planning.
How to Earn Every Stealth Ribbon
There are seven stealth ribbons that can be earned throughout the missions in both the campaign and survival modes:

Reaper
This ribbon is best earned in more open missions, such as Collision Course or Lock, Stock, and Barrels.
Though killing 15 enemies in a single mission sounds like a big task, remember that only you need to be in the grass. Find a large patch of tall grass, and you can shoot enemies from afar, and it will count towards this ribbon. Melee takedowns also contribute, allowing you to earn both Wraith’s Wrath and this ribbon simultaneously.
Crate Keeper
Throughout the missions, you’ll find crates designed to hide bodies. You’ll recognize these by the thin white line on their lids, which will highlight when you grab a dead body.
While this is a stealth ribbon, how you take down enemies doesn’t matter. You can sneak up on them and carry them to the crate or cause a ruckus and clean up afterward.
Master Of Distraction
Creating a distraction involves gaining an enemy’s attention without alerting them to your presence. This can be tricky, but any enemy you eliminate while they are distracted will have the ‘Distracted’ score modifier recorded.
To distract enemies, use sound-based techniques like bottles, sound traps, whistling, or a sabotaged Schu mine before it detonates. However, enemies that are alerted, searching for you, fleeing for cover, or investigating a body do not count as distracted.
Invisible Annihilator
This is among the easier ribbons to achieve, as it simply requires you to eliminate enough enemies without being detected. Many missions have sniping locations where you can take down foes without being seen, such as the beginning of Sonderzuge Sabotage, Collision Course, Assault On Fort Rouge, and End of the Line.
As long as you stay undetected, this ribbon can be earned within minutes of starting a mission.
Saboteur’s Symphony
This ribbon is also fairly simple. Just locate any generators, vehicles, or alarms, and sabotage them to make noise distractions. The easiest missions to do this are those with a lot of vehicles, like Devil’s Cauldron or Sonderzuge Sabotage.
Sabotaging involves approaching the object and holding the sabotage button. Shooting does not count—you have to manually sabotage it for it to apply toward the ribbon.
Wraith’s Wrath
Conversely, Wraith’s Wrath is one of the tougher ribbons since it requires you to get up close and perform melee takedowns on five enemies, and all five must be ghost kills.
Ghost kills require that you be completely undetected. The target cannot see you, and any nearby enemies must also be unaware after the takedown. The best mission to achieve this is Dead Drop due to its tight corners ideal for ambushes and enough enemies at the start to earn the ribbon relatively quickly.
Siren Suppressor
The final ribbon is straightforward: just disable any alarm. You can do this by either approaching it directly to deactivate it or sniping it from afar.
Look for speakers with small boxes at the bottom; those are the alarms you can deactivate. You’ll only need to do this once to earn the ribbon. Sonderzuge Sabotage has alarms near the starting area, making it easier to obtain this ribbon.
