In Sniper Elite: Resistance, you’ll spend a lot of time defeating Nazis, but there are situations where you can put them into a gentler kind of sleep. There are various methods to achieve this, and, most of the time, they offer better rewards.
There are seven unique ribbons you can earn in the non-lethal category. Some are easy to acquire just by playing, while others will require specific strategies. If aiming to collect every ribbon, understanding them is crucial.
Ways to Earn All Non-Lethal Ribbons

Concussion Conductor
This ribbon requires a bit of planning when you set up your loadout and also during the mission itself.
Make sure to equip Schu-Mines in your item slots before heading out. While they can be found in the mission area, relying on them now and then is not effective since they’re less common than other items.
Place Schu-Mines in areas like hallways or narrow passages. This way, enemies are more likely to trigger them rather than pass by unnoticed.
To increase your chances of success, position the mines in enemies’ patrol routes or draw their attention so they have to pass by the mine. To get the ribbon, knock out three enemies, so consistent use is essential.
Marked Mastermind

This ribbon is straightforward if you can show some self-discipline. Using your binoculars, identify areas in each mission where you can spot nearly 20 opponents all at once. Be methodical and try to engage in non-lethal takedowns during the mission.
You will need to keep a low profile or carry enough non-lethal ammunition, as being spotted will complicate your mission significantly.
Using suppressors can greatly assist in accumulating this ribbon.
Stunner

For the Stunner ribbon, you must prepare beforehand and maintain precision in your shots.
Bring non-lethal ammo, ideally on a sniper rifle with a low audible range. Find a location with a clear view and begin picking off enemies.
For an added bonus, lay some Schu-Mines first, as enemies investigating the gunfire might accidentally trigger them, helping you earn the Concussion Conductor ribbon simultaneously.
Ignition Inhibitor

This ribbon stands out as it isn’t solely about taking down enemies. You need to interact closely with vehicles, either parked or on the move.
Approach the engine area and interact with it. Clearing out nearby enemies will help, but isn’t necessary.
You can also disable the engine by shooting it. Use Focus mode to see the vulnerable spots highlighted in red; there’s always one near the engine.
As long as you’ve disabled the engine first, you can push it far enough for it to explode, taking out any nearby enemies without affecting your ribbon count.
Conscientious Affecter

This ribbon pairs well with the Stunner; in fact, you can earn both at the same time without any extra work.
Use non-lethal ammo from a good sniping position to achieve both headshots and takedowns, efficiently working towards two ribbons.
You can aim for the torso instead of the head if you’re only focused on this particular ribbon; this can be easily accomplished with an SMG.
Pugilist

This ribbon is probably the most challenging to acquire, as it requires you to get up close and personal with enemies without being noticed.
Fortunately, you don’t need any specific weapons—your fists are enough.
To be successful, you should familiarize yourself with enemy patrol routes and be selective about which enemies to engage.
Yeet Street

This ribbon is relatively easy to collect since you can achieve it using bottles, a commonly found item.
You begin each mission with three bottles, and there are often more available scattered throughout the area. Focus your efforts on isolated targets, as you’ll likely need multiple throws to knock them out.
Aim for enemies who are walking away from you for an easier hit compared to those moving sideways.
Smart Use of Non-Lethal Ammo

Many of these ribbons either require or benefit significantly from non-lethal ammo. However, you can’t carry an excessive amount of it into missions—typically, only enough for one magazine per weapon. Be mindful, as you’ll go through it quickly.
Look out for ammo caches scattered throughout missions. Most maps have one or two non-lethal ammo supplies that can assist you in securing an additional ribbon.
Exercise caution with each shot when using non-lethal ammo. Unlike standard ammunition, which can kill enemies, non-lethal shots are unique—once they’re spent, they’re gone. Some ribbons will need to wait until your next mission, so make every shot count.
