Unlocking Aladdin’s Gem Stall in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The latest update of Disney Dreamlight Valley, titled Tales of Agrabah, has introduced Aladdin and Jasmine into the valley. Additionally, Aladdin is set to launch a new Gem Stall. The stalls in Dreamlight Valley function as small market shops operated by various villagers, providing players access to materials and items that would typically need to be gathered on their own.

Initially, there was some expectation that Jafar might be behind the gem stall with the A Rift In Time update, but that turned out to be inaccurate. Instead, we received Gaston’s meat stall, which, although intriguing, proved to be significantly less beneficial for gameplay. Thankfully, the Gem Stall is finally here, run by Aladdin once you’ve completed his quest.

How to Achieve Level 10 Friendship with Aladdin

Boost Aladdin’s Friendship to Unlock His Final Quest

To unlock the Gem Stall, you must not only finish the quests to bring Aladdin and Jasmine into Disney Dreamlight Valley, but also boost Aladdin’s friendship level to 10 and complete his final friendship quest. This involves finishing prior friendship quests, including one related to Jasmine and another that unlocks the Dreamlight Magic Carpet Glider.

Earning level 10 friendship is no straightforward task, particularly if you’re aiming for speed. The most effective method is to gift Aladdin his favorite items daily. The new update conveniently highlights these in your inventory and recipe menu while cooking. Besides gifting, strengthening your friendship can also be achieved through daily chats, serving him meals when he eats out, and inviting him to join you in completing various tasks.

If you’re eager to level him up quickly, there is a backup option, although it requires patience. Random items don’t yield high friendship points, but Flowers are known to be more effective for leveling up after he has received his favorite gifts. This method will be slower, but it can work. Simply collect any flowers you have, preferably common ones, keep them in your inventory, and continue to gift until his friendship maxes out.

How to Complete the Advanced Marketing Quest

Assist Aladdin in Opening His Gem Stall

Once Aladdin reaches friendship level 10, you need to ensure that other prerequisites for this quest have been satisfied. Specifically, you must unlock The Beast, Kristoff, Mulan, and Tiana, and help them progress to the point where each has established their stalls. Access to the Forgotten Lands is also required. If all conditions are fulfilled, speak with Aladdin to start the Advanced Marketing quest.

During your conversation with Aladdin, he will share his new friendship with Wall-E and his intention to gift him some shiny gems for his collection. He needs your assistance in collecting these gems. This segment of the quest requires you to mine for 12 different gems; these must be gems that you mine yourself and cannot be taken from your inventory or stocked items. Gems collected by companions do not count either.

Once you have mined all the necessary gems, remember you don’t have to give Aladdin the exact gems you just collected. As long as you have enough to satisfy the requirements, you can swap any mined gems from your inventory to fulfill the next step. For instance, if you gather rubies but prefer to keep them, you can trade them for garnets from your stash to hand over to Aladdin instead.

After discussing with Aladdin, you will observe his interaction with Wall-E, who will be thrilled to receive the gems. Following Wall-E’s reaction, Aladdin decides to open the gem stall for all. To assist, return to the Agrabah realm and collect materials for the stall, which include signs, baskets, and a rug. The objective may seem confusing, suggesting you need a total of 6/6 materials, but that refers specifically to the baskets. You’ll need 6 baskets, 1 rug, and 1 sign.

Once you’ve gathered all the necessary items, take them back to Aladdin, who will mention needing further materials to finalize the stall setup. You’ll need to assemble 3 Tinkering Parts, 3 Gold Ingots, 11 Dark Wood, 20 Softwood, and 27 Dry Wood. Unlike the gems, you can use items from your inventory for this task. Just head over to the crafting table once you have everything and look for Aladdin’s image beside the custom signs and chests; that’s where you can craft them.

After crafting all the required materials, Aladdin will instruct you to talk to the other stall owners, which include Tiana, Kristoff, the Beast, and Goofy. You’ll then be positioned to set up the stall. Aladdin wants it to resemble a market from Agrabah, so use decorations from your furniture list, encompassing the crafted items, to achieve the desired look. You also have the option to relocate other villager stalls in Disney Dreamlight Valley to this area, though it’s not mandatory.

After setting up and decorating the stall, use the Scrooge sign to unlock it at no cost. Once it’s open, place the balloon arch Aladdin provides to commemorate the occasion, and take a photo. This will complete the quest and grant you complete access to the Gem Stall. To unlock all six slots, since only three are available initially, you’ll need to invest 15,000 coins on the Scrooge sign in front to upgrade the stall.

Daily Inventory Check

Now that Aladdin’s Gem Stall is up and running in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you can relocate it as you wish. Much like other stalls in the game, the Gem Stall features a daily limited inventory of six different items. The selection of items will change daily, but it won’t reset at midnight for everyone. The game uses a universal clock, so updates occur simultaneously for all players worldwide. This means the daily reset can happen at night, morning, or afternoon, depending on your location.

Generally, this reset occurs at 12 am PST/3 am EST/8 am UTC, so adjust that time to your timezone to know when to expect not only Aladdin’s Gem Stall reset but also all other daily changes in the valley. Alongside the daily reset, Aladdin will offer a limited stock of each item daily. Each villager’s stall has a varying stock amount, with Aladdin’s stall being particularly variable.

Instead of having a static amount of each gem, less rare gems are capped at a maximum of five, while rarer gems, such as shiny variants, may have as few as one. Since gathering gems can be tedious and they’re often essential for quests, this stall is among the most valuable in the game. Therefore, aim to purchase Aladdin’s entire inventory daily to maintain a consistent supply in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
