Arc Raiders blueprints are some of the most important items in the game. They allow you to unlock new crafting recipes permanently, giving you access to new weapons, attachments like silencers, and upgraded versions of recipes you already own. These upgrades make your equipment better and more effective. Below, you’ll find how to find blueprints and how to use them to improve your crafting options.
Where to find and farm blueprints in Arc Raiders
Blueprints appear randomly in the game world, but they are more likely to be found in certain spots:
- High loot areas
- Behind locked doors that need keys
- Raiders’ storage containers
- During night-time missions
For farming blueprints, a good strategy is to jump into night missions with the free loadout and head straight to the closest Raider outposts or high loot zones depending on where you start. Search for blueprints, then quickly move to an extraction point. The challenge is there, but there’s little to lose. You can be back at Speranza in just about ten minutes. Keep in mind, using a free loadout means you can’t bring a key, so locked doors won’t be accessible on these runs.
Understanding blueprints in Arc Raiders
Blueprints are obtained randomly as you explore maps or complete missions. Once you find one, it’s crucial to extract safely with it in your inventory and bring it back to Speranza. When you’re there, go into your inventory, select the blueprint, and choose the option to “consume and learn.” Doing this will destroy the blueprint but grant you the recipe permanently, so you can craft that item whenever you want.
To craft items based on blueprints, you’ll need the appropriate crafting station in your Workshop, and some blueprints may require upgrading that station. For example, crafting a high-level weapon blueprint might need a Level 2 Gunsmith table along with the necessary components.
Some blueprints also upgrade existing recipes. For instance, while you can craft an Angled Grip early on, finding its blueprint later will make your crafted grips more effective.
