Collector’s Cove is a relaxing game that focuses on collecting, building, and showing off items. What makes this game different is that the main goal is to find all the special Fish and Crops, called Fabled Species. To do this, you first discover their normal versions, then complete tasks in the game to catch their super-rare versions.
For crops, you plant many of each type to learn how to make special fertilizers. Then, you use those fertilizers multiple times to find out what is needed to grow the Fabled Species. You can also learn about them early by meeting certain requirements without doing all the steps. Here’s a list of all the Fabled Crops in Collector’s Cove and how to get them:

Tropical Trove Crops:
- Watermelon – Honey Dew Melon: Have 3 flowers next to your watermelon.
- Sweet Potato – Sour Potato: Dig up a sweet potato and plant a new one in the same spot.
- Tomato – Sacred Heart Tomato: Interact affectionately with your companion three times when harvestable.
- Pineapple – Tropizza: Use special pineapple fertilizer made with wheat, tomato, pineapple, and wood.
- Chili – Underworld Chili: Get angry fish three times when the chili is ready.
- Cucumber – Serpent Cucumber: Keep watering your cucumber plant at least 25%.
- Corn – Popcorn: Keep the corn near fire for a while after harvesting.
- Blueberries – Fairy Berry: Let butterflies visit your blueberry while it’s growing.
- Mango – Lassingo: Grow a mango after harvesting a chili from the same plant.
- Banana – Banana Split: Stay near Galaxy Glaciers with your banana for 12 hours.
Sakura Shores Crops:
- Onion – Spring Onion: Rotate your camera around the onion.
- Turnip – Coinip: Earn 2,000 coins while the turnip is growing.
- Strawberry – Bunny Berry: Have 5 carrots in your inventory.
- Red Cabbage – Shadow Cabbage: Harvest it at night.
- Sugarcane – Hanabi Cane: Reach a new rank, make a discovery, or find a Fabled Species while it’s harvestable.
- Raspberry – Foxberry: Don’t look at it, then quickly grab it when it transforms.
- Red Beans – Oshiruko: Water the red bean three times.
- Kumquat – Kumochi: Walk through it three times.
- Plum – Umegiri: Let your companion water all crops three times.
- Peach – Hero Peach: Have two nearby Camellia Momotaro flowers.
Haunted Harbors Crops:
- Beetroot – Beat-Root: Make music near it.
- Garlic – Venus Vampiretrap: Keep a piranha fish tank nearby for six hours.
- Pumpkin – Cat-o’-Lantern: Have two light decorations nearby.
- Potato – Mummytato: Dry it out in the sun.
- Amaranth – Amarathulhu: Water it three times with Haunted Harbors pond water.
- Wheat – Ghoulgrain: Have three bone decorations on your boat.
- Eggplant – Batplant: Wear black clothes.
- Brussels Sprouts – Chompsprout: Keep two compost bins nearby.
- Apple – Gigglecore Apple: Catch three fish near an apple tree.
- Pear – Ghost Pear: Bring a ghost back to its grave when harvestable.
Galaxy Glaciers Crops:
- Artichoke – Art-Ichoke: Harvest three different colored crops nearby.
- Broccoli – Broccosmic: Continue growing for 24 hours after harvest.
- Carrot – Carrocket: Use the “I’m stuck” feature while nearby.
- Kiwi – Kiwioid: During a meteor shower.
- Cranberry – Starberry: Use a telescope to look at it.
- Pomegranate – Pommetheus: Have three galaxy-themed decorations.
- Tangerine – Pinewheel Tangerine: Stay in different climates for a day.
