While most attack types deal standard damage, some are also resisted by Dynamax Sableye, meaning they inflict less harm. Fighting and Poison attacks are notably resisted, causing them to deal 37.5% less damage. Best Counters for Dynamax Sableye in Pokémon GO
No Super Effective Attacks Available
Dynamax Sableye stands out as one of the rare Dynamax Pokémon in Pokémon GO, as none of the Pokémon at your disposal have super-effective moves against it. You can use only Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokémon in Max Battles, and there are currently none available with Fairy-type moves.
Even without Fairy types, Dynamax Sableye can be defeated by solo players, thanks to its classification as just a tier one Max Battle.
Since no super-effective types can be utilized, players should choose robust attackers that Dynamax Sableye does not resist. Dynamax Metagross is one of the top candidates, thanks to its powerful Steel-type moves. The Legendary trio from Generation One—Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno—also boast impressive moves. Lastly, Gigantamax Gengar and Charizard can overpower Sableye quickly.
While there may not be exploitable weaknesses, Dynamax Sableye can be taken down by solo trainers in Pokémon GO utilizing the strongest available attackers. Be sure to catch it during Max Mondays starting May 19, 2025.
