In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the outcomes of your missions often hinge on your ability to choose the right dialogue responses. If you fail to persuade non-playable characters (NPCs), you risk missing out on crucial information, which can affect later quests.

In Trosky, Von Bergow will task you with interrogating a prisoner to uncover vital details about the bandits menacing the area. You’ll need to extract four key pieces of information, and your success depends on making the right dialogue choices to get the prisoner to talk.

Correct Dialogue Choices for the Interrogation

Henry and Hans are not keen on torturing the prisoner, as it’s an unpleasant task, but they need the intel he possesses. You will need to strike the right balance between applying pressure and getting the information you need.

Be cautious: if you push the prisoner too hard, you might kill him, but if you don’t apply any pressure at all, you’ll walk away empty-handed.

First, ask him where his crew is hiding.
When he refuses to answer, respond with, “We already know anyway!”
He’ll retort, “You don’t know anything!”
Now, punch him to escalate the situation.
He’ll continue to resist, so hit him harder.
When Capon encourages you, threaten him with a hammer.
He’ll crack a bit and reveal that the nest is in Nebakov, which you suspected.
Next, ask who his leader is.
If he claims not to know, punch him again.
He’ll then confess his leader is named Jan.
Inquire if Istvan Toth is with them.
When he hesitates, use an instrument to increase your intimidation.
He’ll admit that Istvan Toth is part of the crew.
There’s no point in asking about the sword Istvan stole; he doesn’t know.
Now, ask more details about his leader.
If he still refuses, say, “Say it and save yourself.”
He won’t have more information, so don’t torture him further.
Ask if someone in the region is aiding him.
Threaten him with an instrument again.
Try to change the topic, but Hans will intervene and demand the name.
He’ll reluctantly reveal that Olda Semine is providing help.
Question him about why they ambushed you at the pond at the start of the game.
Inform him that you’re not on Von Bergow’s side.
Give him a slap and then apply some torture.
The interrogation will then conclude.

Once you finish the quest, you will have completed the objective, although you may lose some reputation. Still, you’ll have acquired the four crucial pieces of information, ensuring Von Bergow appreciates your efforts.
