To change your character’s appearance in Baldur’s Gate 3, head to your camp and search for the magic mirror. While you have the freedom to switch up your appearance, voice, pronouns, and even genitals, note that you won’t be able to alter your race, subrace, or body type. Additionally, characters with an Origin, hirelings, or full illithids cannot make changes via this method. Any transformations that are narratively driven cannot be adjusted either.
Although there were hints that Withers might enable character appearance changes, that feature never materialized. However, he does serve important functions, including allowing players to respec their characters and change classes, in addition to having the means to revive fallen allies in the game. He can also introduce hirelings to join your party, but cosmetic makeovers aren’t part of his offerings.
