S-Tier Weapons
-
Venator: If you’ve played Arc Raiders, this gun is no surprise. Seen as one of the top PvP options, it offers high damage, accuracy, and good range, making quick kills easy. The base Venator has 10 shots; if you’re precise, it’s enough to eliminate enemies easily.
-
Renegade: A favorite of many, the Renegade is arguably the best long-range weapon for PvP. Using Medium Ammo, it can knock down a Light Shield Player in just four headshots. Great for keeping your distance or poking enemies during fights. You can reload one bullet at a time and interrupt reloading to keep firing if needed.
-
Il Toro: Who doesn’t love a good shotgun? The Il Toro deals heavy damage with a surprisingly long range for a scattergun. It’s perfect for quickly peeking out of cover, firing, then ducking back before opponents can react.
-
Tempest: The top Epic weapon, the Tempest is the best assault rifle. It offers good stability, range, and decent damage, making it excellent for quick bursts. It performs well within 10-20 meters and pairs nicely with rifles like Ferro or Renegade. Be mindful, though—this gun consumes ammo fast.
-
Anvil: Think of it as your trusty headshot machine. This high-damage pistol fires slowly but is accurate and effective at ripping shields off enemies with just a few shots. Its base version offers impressive range.
-
Stitcher: Probably the most widely used PvP weapon, the Stitcher is a compact submachine gun ideal for close combat. Its high fire rate and manageable recoil make it perfect for enemies within a meter range. It’s also affordable and easy to find or upgrade, making it a great starting gun.
A-Tier Weapons
-
Kettle: Perhaps the closest thing to a DMR in this game, the Kettle is a single-shot assault rifle. It’s best at close to medium range, offering controlled fire and high accuracy. Plus, it’s inexpensive and easy to obtain, making it accessible for PvP.
-
Aphelion: I’ll admit, this gun is a bit of a cheat—it’s essentially a railgun that charges up a powerful energy bolt. If you’re patient enough to charge it safely, it’s deadly. However, because it requires charging before firing, it’s less reliable in chaotic fights. Nice for sniping from a distance but not always consistent.
-
Jupiter: Similar in nature, the Jupiter does a lot of damage but needs to charge each shot. It’s precise but delays your attack and has a slow reload, which can be risky during fast-paced fights.
-
Burletta: This pistol is great for close-range battles. It fires rapidly, is fairly accurate, and has manageable recoil. Upgrading it with a magazine and faster reloading makes it even better for hectic fights.
-
Bobcat: Like the Burletta, this gun benefits greatly from upgrades. Its extremely high fire rate allows dumping entire magazines quickly, good for point-blank fights or catching enemies off-guard. Once upgraded, it performs much better.
-
Torrente: A gun I initially doubted, the Torrente is a rapid-firing, somewhat unstable weapon. It’s terrifying up close—devastating at within 5 meters—perfect for suppressing enemies trying to peek or hold positions. Not suited for medium or long-range.
B-Tier Weapons
-
Ferro: A high-damage, single-fire rifle, the Ferro is excellent for close-range combat. It’s accurate and stable, good for players who aim well. It can strip shields in one shot but is slow to fire, making it less versatile than higher-tier options.
-
Bettina: An assault rifle that uses Heavy Ammo, meaning it can deal decent damage and is controllable. It’s solid but outclassed by other weapons. Heavy Ammo also takes up space, so it’s less practical.
-
Equalizer: I’ve only used this in limited fights. It fires a steady beam that can cut through shields but doesn’t do much damage directly. Its bright beam also reveals your position easily, so it’s better suited for fighting ARC enemies than Raiders.
-
Osprey: A sniper rifle designed for long-range sniping. It’s satisfying to use and can deal decent damage, but because it requires scoping in and has a slow reload, it’s vulnerable if you miss your shot. Best used when you can stay at a safe distance.
-
Vulcano: An epic semi-auto shotgun that packs a punch but feels outperformed by the Il Toro. It’s capable of multi-hit damage, but the investment in upgrades may not be worth it for PvP.
C-Tier Weapons
-
Rattler: Needs significant upgrades to be worthwhile. Its damage and accuracy are decent, but the small magazine of only 10 rounds makes it easy to run out of ammo early in fights. Upgrading might improve its standing.
-
Arpeggio: A burst-fire weapon with good range, recoil control, and reload speed. Unfortunately, it lacks enough damage output—feels underwhelming for PvP, making it a less desirable choice.
D-Tier Weapons
-
Hairpin: A silenced pistol that sounds appealing but is underwhelming. Its fire rate is slow, and damage isn’t enough to make the silence worthwhile. Better to just attach a silencer to a different gun or use it as a challenge.
-
Hullcracker: The best gun for PvE against ARC, but practically useless for PvP. It’s a grenade launcher meant for bots, and it does no real damage to players. Don’t try to use it to fight other Raiders; your axe might serve better.
That’s a summary of the top weapons for PvP in Arc Raiders. Choosing the right weapon depends on your playstyle and the situation, but these rankings can give you a good starting point.
