33 Immortals is a cooperative MMO roguelite inspired by titles like Hades. You’ll engage in battles throughout various stages alongside up to 33 other players, which is where the name comes from. Currently, the game features four weapons: Daggers, Sword, Bow, and Staff. Each weapon has its strengths and weaknesses, but many players believe that the Sword stands out as the top choice right now, as it allows you to block all incoming damage, making it especially useful during boss encounters and Torture Rooms.

In the following sections, we’ll provide a detailed overview of each weapon, including their primary abilities and combos.

Best Weapon in 33 Immortals – The Sword

After trying out all four weapons in the game, we’ve determined that our favorite—and arguably the best—is the Sword.

Your experience may differ; the Daggers can be quite enjoyable, too. Most of your damage will stem from the Relics and Perks you gather on your adventure rather than from a specific weapon. Any weapon can be effective with a solid build.

With the Sword, you have the ability to string together light attacks, gain Justice from hitting opponents, and then use that Justice for either Guard or Heavy Slash, both of which are valuable.

Guard

Using the Guard ability expends 20 Justice points per second, but while active, it blocks all incoming damage. This includes significant boss strikes. If you time your blocks correctly, you can survive much longer than many of your teammates.

Heavy Slash

Heavy Slash also uses Justice. When you land a charged attack, it will Stagger enemies. This move is particularly effective against single-target foes, but be cautious when numerous enemies are nearby, as the charging can take some time.

The Daggers – Fun and Agile

The Daggers may be trickier to master than the Sword, but they offer increased mobility, making them very enjoyable for those who can execute combos effectively.

You can string together light slashes with the Daggers, building up Greed as you strike your enemies. Once your Greed meter fills up, you can use your jump to perform a Takedown on enemies. The higher your Greed, the more damage the Daggers inflict.

You can also use your jump Takedown to escape danger along with your dash! Combining your Dash with your Takedown allows you to cover significant ground quickly.

The Bow – Ideal for Beginners

The Bow serves as the starting weapon in 33 Immortals because it’s the most beginner-friendly. You won’t need to deal with many complex mechanics, and you can attack from a safe distance, reducing the chances of being harmed by melee enemies.

Its mechanics are straightforward: you shoot arrows and then can recall them using your Guiding Light ability. Arrows that you recall will pierce through enemies, dealing damage.

The Staff – Area Damage But More Challenging

The Staff is a powerful weapon in 33 Immortals, but it requires more strategic use. You can launch either Light Orbs or Heavy Orbs, accumulating Sloth as you damage foes.

Once you have enough Sloth, you can cast Torpor, an area-of-effect attack that slows down enemies. The more you utilize Torpor while casting, the greater the slowdown effect on monsters.

Torpor can also inflict damage over time and various effects on enemies. For instance, if you obtain the Oxidized Flagon (which causes all your attacks to inflict Weak), you can weaken entire groups of foes with a single move. This can set up some excellent combinations!

In summary, each weapon in 33 Immortals offers unique gameplay mechanics and strategies. Whether you prefer the powerful Sword, the agile Daggers, the straightforward Bow, or the situational Staff, there’s a weapon for every playstyle.
