Leveling up your character in Persona 5: The Phantom X is crucial. Your Personas and Phantom Idols’ highest levels depend on your own, and some story missions require you to reach specific levels before you can attempt them.
Achieving certain levels also unlocks higher Realm of Repression stages, which offer better rewards. Plus, you may receive bonus items from Shop Marthym and various events for reaching specific levels. Here, we’ll discuss effective strategies for gaining experience points quickly, helping you level up faster and access new rewards.
How To Gain A Lot of EXP
One of the main ways to enhance Wonder is by leveling him up. His level reflects your account’s level, and every time he levels up, his stats improve. Additionally, the level cap for his Personas and the Phantom Idols increases every ten levels.
As Wonder levels up, the experience needed to advance grows. Certain story missions also lock you out until you reach a specific level due to their difficulty. Therefore, it’s essential to consistently grind for experience points.
Grinding in the Realm of Repression

A highly effective way to earn experience is by diving into the Metaverse and completing Realm of Repression stages. At the end of each stage, spend Stamina to open the reward cube.
If you use your full 240 Max Stamina, you can easily score between 5,000 and 6,000 EXP, and that total can rise if you use items like Coffee Aid, Coffee Candy, or Meta Jewels to restore your stamina.

Since main story missions will have limits based on the game version, grinding through the Realm of Repression gives you a reliable method to earn significant amounts of EXP daily, allowing frequent level-ups alongside a steady collection of vital upgrade materials.
Progressing Through The Main Story

Another effective way to accumulate EXP is by completing tasks in the main storyline. Every major objective yields at least 2,000 EXP, and there are several such tasks throughout each quest.
Finishing a single Palace generally awards you with at least 10,000 EXP, often nearing 14,000 EXP, not counting optional encounters with Savage Shadows and minibosses that provide additional experience.
Completing Daily Pass Goals

You can also earn EXP daily by finishing your Daily Pass Goals, part of the Phantom Pass that unlocks as you progress in the main story.
Each day, you’ll have the chance to complete up to four tasks from a list of options, including simple actions like logging in or tackling a specific Realm of Repression stage.
Completing one task rewards you with 20 Meta Jewels, 2,250 EXP Points, a Random Gift Set, and 150 Experience Points toward leveling up the Phantom Pass. Finish all four tasks, and you’ll get 9,000 EXP Points.
Reaching Palace Exploration Milestones

In the Metaverse, Palaces are vast, and exploring them thoroughly comes with rewards. By navigating to the Metaverse menu and selecting your desired Palace, then opening the Progress tab on the map, you’ll see your exploration rewards.
For every ten percent of a Palace you explore, which includes tasks like opening chests and defeating bosses, you’ll earn several bonuses:
- Earn a solid 450 EXP.
- Receive 70 Meta Jewels for exploration percentages between ten and 50 percent, increasing to 150 Meta Jewels for each step thereafter until you reach 100 percent.
- Get Training Materials, like Thief Compendiums, depending on the step.
- A unique reward at 50 percent often includes items for the main character, such as the Five-Star All-In knife from Miyazawa’s Palace.
Achieving 100 percent completion nets you a remarkable 4,500 EXP Points, and since each Palace has its own exploration progress, finishing the first four Palaces provides an impressive 18,000 EXP along with additional rewards from chests and enemies during your explorations.
