There are many materials in Arc Raiders, each with different levels of usefulness. Most items in the game serve a purpose, but some are only useful for selling or dismantling.
One of these items is the Turbo Pump. Currently, it has no specific use in quests or upgrades, but breaking it down can give you valuable materials. Here’s everything you need to know about the Turbo Pump and where to find them if you need to farm some.
### Where to Find Turbo Pumps
Although labeled as an Exodus material, Turbo Pumps can often be found in several other locations. If you’re looking to collect some, these are the best spots to check first:
– Hydroponic Dome Complex and Water Treatment Control on Dam Battlegrounds
– Assembly and Assembly Workshops on Stella Montis
– Vehicle Maintenance and Container Storage on Spaceport
Among these, Hydroponic Dome Complex and Water Treatment Control are the most reliable places to find Turbo Pumps. The Hydroponic Dome is spread across several dome buildings, many of which have large shelves and breachable metal boxes. Turbos Pumps and other water-related materials are commonly found here.
> Keep in mind, there’s usually a Rocketeer and other flying ARC nearby this location. Be sure to avoid aggroing them while searching for materials.
Water Treatment Control is another excellent spot for Turbo Pumps. It has lockers and machines that often contain rare loot. There’s minimal ARC presence here, with the occasional Tick or Fireball, and it’s conveniently close to the Water Treatment Elevator, making it easy to extract after your loot run.
Another good area is Spaceport, especially the east side of the map. Both Vehicle Maintenance and Container Storage have plenty of breachable boxes, vehicles, and machines that can spawn Turbo Pumps.
For Vehicle Maintenance, focus on exploring the top and bottom floors, where many lootable containers and loose materials are found. Container Storage is filled with containers to loot, but it’s also a common PvP zone, so stay alert for other players.
Finally, Assembly on Stella Montis is an Exodus-themed location and one of the top spots for rare and epic loot overall. Check the two back workshops and loot the white and blue drawers—they often contain higher-tier items, including the chance to find a Turbo Pump.
That said, Stella Montis should be a last resort because it isn’t as consistent for Turbo Pumps, and it offers many unique materials not found on other maps. Plus, you can’t craft or buy Turbo Pumps, so you’ll need to hunt for them during your sessions.
Even though Turbo Pumps aren’t used for anything specific in gameplay, they are pretty useful for gathering other valuable items. When salvaged from a raid, they can net you three Steel Springs. Recycling them outside of raids gives you one Mechanical Component and three Oil. This makes Turbo Pumps worth collecting whenever you encounter them, especially since they can help you acquire materials you frequently need.
