The enemies you encounter in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon can be challenging, but they yield valuable loot that’s worth the effort. Whether you’re looking to level up or gather rare crafting materials like Drowner Tongues, each enemy type has its role in your adventure.
Redcaps are a prime example of an engaging enemy. They not only keep you alert but also drop essential items you’ll need for your missions, like the Iron Tooth during Acts of Kindness. Here’s where you can find the best Redcap locations in Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon.
What Are Redcaps?
Redcaps are small, goblin-like creatures you’ll find in the Horns of the South and Cuanacht, especially at night. They drop several important materials worth collecting, such as:
- Iron Tooth
- Red Caps
- Redcap’s Dagger
Where To Find Redcaps
While Redcaps are more prevalent during the Wyrd phase, there are several fixed spawn points where you can hunt them for their valuable loot.
Enemies will respawn in these areas after you rest, so feel free to revisit these spots to collect more items or gain XP from the Redcaps.
Horns Of The South – The Peninsula
Start in the Horns of the South, west of the Peninsula, where you wash up on the beach. There are two Redcaps located along the shore.
Horns Of The South – East Of The Abandoned Stronghold
From your fast travel point, head east along the road. When you reach a fork, divert north to locate additional Redcaps.
Horns Of The South – Northwest Of The Ancient Cromlech
Fast travel to the Ancient Cromlech location and proceed north. You’ll find Redcaps situated on the rocks near some water.
Cuanacht – Petrified Visage
Fast travel to this site in the southern part of Cuanacht to discover Redcaps in a concealed cave. You’ll need to navigate up onto the rock formation and around the descending path.
You’ll know you’re in the right spot if you spot a group of deserters camped along a cliff.
Cuanacht – South Of Wyrd Tower
Continue down the road past the deserters to find a couple of Redcaps near a junction. Watch out for other enemies in the area as you engage in combat.
