To survive in the risky and competitive world of Arc Raiders, you need to gather and fight for various materials across the game’s five main maps. Most of these materials are used for upgrading your Workshop, donating to your Expedition, or crafting important gear. Some materials, however, are simply meant to be sold or recycled.
One such material is the Spectrum Analyzer, an Epic item introduced with the Stella Montis map. Here’s where you can find it and why it’s worth collecting.
Where to Find the Spectrum Analyzer
If you’re searching for a Spectrum Analyzer, you’ll need to go to Stella Montis. It only appears on this map, which is an underground base filled with danger. Since it’s classified as an Exodus material, here are the best locations to find it:
- Assembly
- Assembly Workshops
- Medical
- Lobby
Among these, Assembly and Assembly Workshops are the most reliable spots. They have many computer stations with white drawers that often contain at least one Epic-tier material. Be sure to check mobile tool benches and blue cabinets, as these also have a good chance of holding a Spectrum Analyzer.
Keep in mind, Assembly is usually very busy. Expect to encounter other Raiders who might try to steal your loot. However, the ARC activity here is relatively low, with only a few Fireballs and Pops roaming around.
If Assembly is looted, Medical is a good backup. This area has several labs across two floors, with many drawers and bins to search. While there’s a chance to find a Spectrum Analyzer here, your odds are lower than at Assembly.
Tip: Medical also has several Shredders. Always watch out for these enemies, as they can quickly end your run.
Finally, the Lobby can be a quick stop if you’re passing through. Each staircase has small rooms with containers that often contain useful gear. Just be aware that the Lobby is extremely dangerous because many players are usually present, looking for fights.
Using the Spectrum Analyzer
Right now, the Spectrum Analyzer doesn’t serve any specific purpose in quests, upgrades, or crafting. However, it can be recycled into one Exodus Module and one Sensor. Think of it like an Exodus Module, as it helps you accumulate materials needed to craft weapons and the Snaphook. Alternatively, if you’re short on Coins, you can sell the Spectrum Analyzer for 3,500 coins.
