In the profiles section of the main menu in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, you can view up to 25 character slots that gradually get filled as you advance in the game. Out of these, 15 slots are reserved for characters you can romance, while the remaining 10 are for those who aren’t romanceable.
Tsubame is one of the non-romanceable characters you’ll encounter. She resides in the Summer Village, where you can improve your relationship with her. Building this bond unlocks various advantages, such as special recipes and combat enhancements.

After you stabilize the Spring Village, Ulalaka will direct you to the Summer Village, your next stop. Once you arrive, you’ll find Tsubame with two other villagers, who will brief you on the current challenges there.
To unlock Tsubame as a character you can bond with, continue through the Summer Village arc until you meet Matsuri and help her out. After this task, you can begin to form a bond with Tsubame by locating her in various spots around the village.
Tsubame moves to different areas on different days with her cart. Check her icon at the top-right of the map to see where she is.
If you’re trying to catch Tsubame early in the day, head over to the bathhouse in Summer Village, as you can see her coming out of one of the upper-floor rooms.
Best Gifts and Hangouts for Tsubame

Connecting with Tsubame can be both simple and challenging. In addition to chatting with her daily, completing requests for her, and using the Plum Branch near her, the primary way to boost your bond is by spending time with her every day. During these hangouts, you can either gift her an item or choose different options available to you.
As a merchant focused on money, Tsubame has some specific preferences for gifts. However, acquiring these items can be tough early in the game:
