Fallout 4’s Creation Club offers a variety of content, including robotic companions, new armor, additional quests, and fresh weapons. When you download this content, the weapons don’t just suddenly appear in your inventory. Usually, you need to complete a specific quest to unlock them.
You’ll need to put in some effort to add certain weapons to your collection, but some are definitely worth it. Here are a few weapons you should aim to get:
The Ultimatum
This is one of the top handguns in the game. It’s a variant of the classic 10mm pistol, known for being well-balanced with good range, fire rate, accuracy, and damage. This version is extra dangerous because it adds 50 radiation damage on top of its normal damage. It looks stylish, with cool engravings, making it both effective and visually appealing.
How to unlock: Loot it from Wally Mack’s body during the Tunnel Snakes Rule quest.
Cosmic Cannon
This weapon resembles a toy, which makes it stand out from others. Despite its playful look, it’s highly effective — boasting impressive damage and a rapid fire rate. What’s special about it is its versatility: the barrel you attach can transform the weapon into a cryo, laser, or sonic boom blaster, depending on your needs.
How to unlock: Find it in Hubris Television Studios at Hub 360.
Alien Atomizer
As part of the wacky Over the Moon quest, where you fight aliens, you can acquire this energy weapon that hits hard. It’s initially designed to use rare alien blaster rounds, but you can reconfigure it to use fusion cells, which are easier to find. This makes it useful in most combat situations.
How to unlock: Pick it up from an alien body during the Over the Moon quest.
Lucky Manwell Carbine
This isn’t the flashiest weapon around — just a standard-looking carbine — but it’s incredibly effective. It has good range and accuracy for picking off enemies from a distance. Its damage output is impressive, and critical hits deal double damage. Additionally, its critical meter charges 15% faster.
How to unlock: Find it next to a hunter’s body during the Quantum Stag quest.
Ghoul Slayer Heavy Incinerator
As the name suggests, this gun involves fire, launching fireballs that explode upon impact and set the area ablaze. It’s quite lethal, but takes some practice since the fireballs lob through the air before hitting, making precise aiming a bit tricky. Once mastered, it’s very fun to use. Its effectiveness is even greater against ghouls.
How to unlock: Complete the Crucible quest.
These weapons require some effort to acquire but offer significant advantages on the battlefield.
