Once you pull Seed from the gacha system in Zenless Zone Zero, your first priority should be to equip her with a good W-Engine. An Attack-focused engine is recommended because it provides a passive boost to her damage. The best engine for her is her signature called Cordis Germina.

If you can’t get her signature engine, there are several other options to consider:

The strongest team includes Seed, Soldier 0 – Anby, and Trigger, all from the Obol Squad. This team is highly effective against endgame content, especially if enemies are weak to Electric.

Seed Skill Overview and Priority

Seed’s skill set is straightforward, making it easy to understand her playstyle:

Many of her damage outputs come from her Falling Petals basic attack, which has Slaughter and Downfall variations. The Slaughter version can be triggered right after the fourth hit or when holding her EX Special Attack, which locks onto an enemy and launches missiles.
She has a unique energy meter called Steel Charge, which fills when she attacks or when she or her Vanguard uses Energy. It can also be filled with her Ultimate.
To use her Downfall attack, you need enough Steel Charge (e.g., 60). You can trigger it after using Slaughter or her Ultimate, depending on your Steel Charge level.
The Vanguard, the Attack-type team member with the highest Attack, grants Attack and Crit DMG boosts when they perform EX Special Attacks, boosting Seed’s damage further.
Seed can also regenerate Vanguard’s Energy by dealing damage, maintaining her buffs and ability uptime.
She gains a 30% damage boost against enemies with less Electro Resistance, provided another Attack character is in her team.
