How to Unlock the Tesla Gun

The Tesla Gun isn’t available immediately but is relatively easy to find. After defeating the mini-boss in the Gardens—the second realm in Abyssus—you can find the gun next to the exit portal. Simply pick it up to add it to your inventory for your next run.

Note: When you unlock a new weapon, you can’t use it right away. You need to wait until your next expedition and then equip it at a workbench.

How The Tesla Gun Works

The Tesla Gun is a charged weapon firing a large beam with its primary fire and projectiles with its secondary fire.

The primary fire emits a continuous beam that consumes 100 ammo.
The secondary fire shoots projectiles that deal damage over time as they pass through enemies, also costing 100 ammo but using 20 ammo per projectile.

Both firing modes share the same ammo pool.
