The top Borderlands 4 Siren build is all about turning her into a damage-dealing machine that can take care of herself. The goal is to send out deadly Phase Clones that distract enemies while you stay back and fire. This setup works especially well if you’re playing solo, as Vex becomes a flexible attacker with some added survivability, allowing her to quickly eliminate high-priority targets.
The key to this build is Vex’s Dead Ringer skill from her The Fourth Seal skill tree. It lets her summon both tough Reapers and damage-focused Specters whenever she uses it. The plan is to boost the Reapers to keep Vex alive longer, and then use the Dark Pact upgrade to extend how long her minions stick around. Here are the important skills you should unlock to make this build as powerful as possible.
For the skill choices, start by putting points into Cold Iron for a flat 15% boost to gun damage, then add points into Sanguine Fiends so Vex and her minions heal with each kill. Next, invest in Fell Inscriptions to improve minions’ damage and health, and take a point into Cursed Blade to make melee hits curse enemies, increasing their damage taken from guns. Adding another point into Extra Cursed amplifies this effect further, especially when using critical hits.
Max out Obedient Fiends for better minion damage, and put points into Death Follows Closer and Ancient Rites to enhance minion combat strength. Don’t forget a point into Diener to gain an extra summon, and select Dark Pact as your ultimate upgrade. This setup not only grants an extra augment slot—great for adding effects like Wither—but also makes your minions much more durable, creating a self-sufficient style ideal for solo play or damage-focused builds.
Begin by dedicating points into Cold Iron and Sanguine Fiends to boost damage and survivability. Then, invest in Fell Inscriptions for stronger minions, while adding points into Cursed Blade and Extra Cursed to amplify their damage. Activate the Coven augment early on to spread buffs across Reapers and Specters, providing durability and damage potential. When available, switch to Banshee’s Wail for more crowd control and self-shielding.
Stack points into Obedient Fiends, Death Follows Closer, and Ancient Rites for stronger minions, with an extra point into Diener for more summons. Cap it off with Dark Pact to heal your minions and boost their speed and attack power. This late-game setup makes Vex very tough and capable of handling herself, turning her into a reliable DPS and tank combined.
While in combat, you should aim to summon at least one Reaper and one Specter, adding more Reapers against large crowds and more Specters when damage output is the priority—like in boss fights. The variety of buffs and debuffs from this build keeps enemies distracted and vulnerable while allowing your minions to soak up hits, making Vex a surprisingly resilient and powerful fighter.
If you want to enhance your arsenal, consider using Golden Keys from Borderlands 4 Shift Codes for powerful weapons. Remember, a good weapon loadout is essential, but mastering your skills and build strategies will make all the difference. And for more tips, check out our other Borderlands 4 guides.
