Helldivers 2 Boosters are special perks that provide benefits to your entire team. Each player can select and equip one Booster, but its effects apply to everyone, such as boosting stamina, health, resistance, or changing certain game mechanics, like adding turrets to drop pods. New Boosters are typically introduced with each Warbond update, so you can expect a steady stream of new ones, which require both Super Credits and Medals to unlock.
To help you decide which Boosters are worth focusing on, we’ve compiled a list of the top Boosters in Helldivers 2, along with how to earn each one and the Warbond they’re linked to.
There aren’t many Boosters to unlock, but since most appear late in the game and cost lots of Medals, it’s useful to know which ones are most valuable. If you’re playing with four players, everyone can have a different Booster active, but with fewer players, you’ll need to choose wisely. Here are the best Boosters ranked by importance:
- Stamina Boost – Very useful on tough missions, increasing stamina and healing speed helps you move faster across the map and escape enemies.
- Experimental Infusion – Grants a temporary damage and movement speed boost through stims, though it causes some tremors, but it’s a small price to pay for the advantage.
- Hellpod Space Optimization – Ensures you start with full ammo, grenades, and stims after each Hellpod drop, which is critical in any mission, especially with fewer teammates.
- Localization Confusion – Significantly cuts down the appearance of bugs and bot drops, reducing chaos during fights.
- Vitality Boost – Makes your Helldivers tougher, lessening the impact of injuries.
Currently, players can unlock the following Boosters:

Boosters in Helldivers 2 are permanent once unlocked—they don’t expire and can be equipped at the start of any mission. You’re limited to one Booster per mission, but the effects benefit the entire team. If one player equips a Booster that reduces injuries, everyone gains that advantage. Multiple team members cannot equip the same Booster simultaneously, so if a Booster isn’t available, it’s because someone else already has it equipped.
All Boosters are earned through Warbonds and Medals. The best approach is to ensure everyone has a different Booster, maximizing team buffs. Since Boosters pose no risks and can be used endlessly, it’s recommended to equip them in every mission—especially on harder difficulty levels where every edge counts.
