The 30th-anniversary remaster of Rayman, developed with the creator’s input, is now officially available on PlayStation 5.
The remaster includes five different versions of the original Rayman game and is priced at $19.99 on the PlayStation Store. Created by Digital Eclipse in partnership with Ubisoft Montpellier, this special release honors the franchise’s legacy by bundling versions from the PlayStation, Atari Jaguar, MS-DOS, Game Boy Advance, and Game Boy Color into a single package.
A trailer showcasing the remaster can be viewed on YouTube, offering a glimpse into the updates and classic gameplay.
The collection transports players into Rayman’s enchanting world, where they can explore areas like the Dream Forest and the lively Band Lands while rescuing Electoons and thwarting Mr. Dark’s evil plans.
In addition to the five traditional versions, the definitive edition introduces new content such as a previously unreleased SNES prototype, 120 extra levels from bonus packs, a reworked soundtrack, improved gameplay features, and an interactive documentary that shares Rayman’s creation story with interviews from the original developers.
Fans can also access a digital museum showcasing rare concept art, early sketches, design documents, and other exclusive materials.
